About this Cook
I am a twentysomething living in a city. I keep busy with work and hanging out with my friends. I am becoming more interested in eating in and cooking than eating out all the time. I enjoy cooking for others and find it difficult just cooking for 2-3 people but I am learning. I am interested in learning to cook authentic Asian food.
My favorite things to cook
I really love cooking eggrolls and potstickers. I really love them but my recipe makes so many of them that I don't do it very often, unless a lot of people will be eatting them.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love the idea of a big family Thanksgiving. I enjoy getting together every year. Everyone has a job and its such a fun time full of memories.

Old Fashioned Coconut Cream Pie
This was my first attempt at coconut cream pie and it turned out great!! I followed other reviews and used 1 1/2 cups of unsweetened coconut milk and 1 1/2 cups of half and half. Be careful when you toast your coconut... I learned the hard way and burned it until it was black. Great pie and there wasn't a piece left. (My boyfriend's dad had 3 pieces!)

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
I loved the extra "spice" from the ground cloves.

Hot Chicken Wing Dip
Everyone LOVES it!! I buy a roast chicken that you can get in the deli section of your grocery store and just shred the meat off the bone. Then I mix the chicken and the bottle of Franks Hot Wing Sauce into a 9X13 pan and stick it in the oven to warm while I mix the rest. I then melt the cream cheese and ranch together on the stove top, low heat and spread it over the chicken, sprinkle the shredded cheddar and bake until bubbly and brown. I serve with tortilla chips.
