Cod with Italian Crumb Topping

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2015
Yum! Found nice cod on sale and really didn't want to make fish and chips. This is a terrific and super easy recipe. Like others, I substituted mayo and lemon juice for the egg but, not docking Dakota for that. We will make again for sure. Thank you for sharing Dakota!

Mexican Bean Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2014
WOW!!! Made this to go with homemade empanadas for dinner last night only 2 hours before serving. It tasted great before I stuck it in the freezer. (Speed chill ya know.) Stirred every 1/2 hour. My DH never gives anything a 5 star rating but, he did for this....and my original empanadas. It is even better today! Decided to have tacos to carry on the Mexican theme tonight to go with the leftover salad. The recipe makes a ton but, you will be glad it does! :) Thanks, Karen, for sharing! UPDATE! Making this glorious salad for my neighborhood Lights Out BBQ tomorrow. Notice I am a day early this time. HAHAHA! I am organizing our family reunion coming up in 2 weeks and I will make this again. This salad is so awesome, yummy and great for crowds! (Or just a bunch of hungry guys. LOL!)I add garbanzo beans because I love them. I will try to remember to take a picture this time. :)

Quick Fix Barbecued Fajitas

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2014
Made these tonight spur of the moment and they were a hit! My DH gave them 4 stars but had seconds. My vote rules. HAHAHA! Too easy, healthy and as weird as it is to use BBQ sauce on fajitas, I thought they were great. Will make them again. :)

Emily's Famous Hash Browns

Reviewed: May 31, 2014
Thee are great and easy. More like potato pancakes but, big deal. We love potato pancakes! I grated a little more potato than called for so added another egg. I did not use so much oil and mine came out perfect. This is the 3rd time I have made them and just forgot to review. Thanks for such a great recipe yourmom!

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2014
Yum!!! Added an extra 1/4 cup of milk but, that was just my preference for a bit thinner pancake. The recipe claims 8 servings. At my house,it served 2. They were that good! :)

Scrambled Egg Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2014
These were pretty good. Think I would spice the mix up more next time. Fresh minced garlic instead of powder. Pepper Jack cheese? Cut the recipe in 1/2 for the 2 of us. Added the mayo and water as one reviewer suggested.

This is so good!!! I followed the recipe exactly (not my normal mode of operation) and it was perfect. Made the batch for 8 servings and my husband and I inhaled it. Will definitely make again. Thanks for posting!

Baked French Toast

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2014
Really good and easy! I might increase the butter or decrease the brown sugar since as the french toast cools a bit, that mix gets hard and crunchy. Will make again. :)

Kung Pao Chicken

The guys in my house liked this and gave it 4 stars but, my vote counts for more. :) It was OK, not bad but, not how I like my Kung Pao chicken.

Meat and Veggie Stromboli

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2014
This is so good! I needed a stromboli twice in one week. The first one I used Pillsbury crescent rolls from the can. It was good and perfect for 4. Needed a bigger one for the 2nd day and so glad I used this recipe and the frozen bread dough. The egg yolk and Parmesan are so perfect. Got loads of raves from all who enjoyed it. Thank you, Cris, for sharing!

Curried Carrot Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2014
Yum! I read several of the reviews and added fresh ginger, garlic, garam marsala and a little cumin. Only used chicken broth not plain water. Probably used a little less of the liquid because I wanted a thicker soup. Will definitely make this again. Thanks for posting Doug!

Sausage Balls

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2013
Super easy and really good. I used country sausage and my KitchenAid. Made mine a bit smaller than walnuts I guess as they were cooked through in 15 minutes. Thinking some finely minced onion would be a good addition for more flavor. Might make a batch of spicy next time in addition to the regular ones. I thought they needed a dipping sauce so made Yummy Honey Mustard from here. http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Yummy-Honey-Mustard-Dipping-Sauce/ and my own Asian dipping sauce. Got nothing but raves and they all disappeared really fast. I will make them again for sure and have already shared the recipe with friends and family.

Mini Ham And Cheese Rolls

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2013
These are really good and so easy. I would only bake them 15-18 minutes though as I found them to be a bit overdone for my tastes. The DH loved them. Served with sweet potato fries. Yum!

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2013
This is super good and easy! I definitely suggest doubling the sauce, using at least one clove of minced fresh garlic and adding 1 TBSP cornstarch to the sauce mix. You could also add chopped onions, bell peppers , water chestnuts, or ? I will be making this again and again!

Louisiana Sweet Potato Pancakes

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2013
YUM! First I used a non-stick pan with oil. They really stuck to the pan. So switched to a Revere Ware pan and used spray oil. And flattened the pancakes a bit. This worked like a charm. They were so good! Will definitely make these again. Thanks for such a great and easy recipe!
