Vodka Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2013
Great recipe. Followed the recipe except left out the Prosciutto because my husband gobbled it up before I could use it. No worries though, the sauce was delicious. I will be making this again for sure.

Baked Salmon Fillets Dijon

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2013
Very good. I used the butter garlic croutons that were suggested by others and added a little bit of parsley as well. The Dijon, crouton mix and salmon worked very well together.

Creamy Horseradish Garlic Spread

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2012
Easy recipe and went perfect with my rib roast. My kids even liked it! I had one very minor change I had to make. I did not have any dill on hand and therefore did not add, however, I did not miss it. This version is light on the horseradish, so for you hotheads this is a milder sauce. Thank you for sharing.

Chicken with Mushrooms, Prosciutto, and Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2012
Very good and fairly easy recipe. I did make a few minor adjustments, I browned the chicken and sauteed the mushrooms and garlic first. Other then that, followed the recipe.

Chicken-Fried Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2011
I made this for the family and everyone liked it. The recipe is easy, especially with the slow cooker factor. I made a few changes based on prior reviews, added beef broth in place of water and added onions in the beginning to simmer with the meat.

Hearty Pasta Tomato Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2011
I really like this recipe and my husband did too. I followed the comments from others and halved the recipe and in place of Zucchini I used 2 stalks of celery. I also added the tortellini to the soup to cook. No need to dirty up another pan.

Fettuccine with Sweet Pepper-Cayenne Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2011
This was quick and easy for sure. I was out of fettuccine so I used penne instead. I read some of the prior reviews and added some white wine for flavor and included some peas for extra color and veg factor.

Enjoyed these very much. Lowered the amount of sugar to 3/4 C. though. My kids liked them too.

Baked Spaghetti Squash with Beef and Veggies

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2011
I thought this dish was very good. I took the advice of a prior post and did 1/2 beef and 1/2 sausage to kick up the flavor. Other then that, followed the recipe and really enjoyed it.

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2010
Good, simple. I browned the meat with the garlic first and then added everything to the slow cooker. I found the sauce to be a bit thin. Other then that, nice recipe. Thank you.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2010
Although my kids did not eat very much, I give this a 5 star rating. I thought it was very delicious for a pot pie. I made a few adjustments added 1 cooked potato cut in very small cubes and eliminated the celery. I added a little poultry seasoning into the sauce and left everything else as is.

Jennie's Heavenly Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2010
This was good and the family ate it up. Followed the recipe as is, no changes necessary. I did however cook this 2 hours on high and 2 hours on low setting. Chicken came put perfect. Love the slow cooker recipes especially in the colder weather.

Spiced Butternut Squash Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2010
Liked it a lot and spouse did too! My squash was a bit small, so I will be sure to grab a bigger squash next time for more butternut flavor. All the flavors meld together nicely with a pleasant spicy background. Excellent cold night recipe. Thank you.

Quiche Lorraine I

I made this today just because. And it was very good. I modified just a bit because I did not have onions and used shallots instead. And I sautéed them in the bacon grease. Thank you for the recipe.

Fiesta Cheese Rice

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2010
I thought this rice dish was ok. It really was easy to prepare, however, I found the dish to be to runny. Partly my fault because I used a regular can of diced tomatoes and what I should have used is a can or ROTEL tomatoes with green chilies. I think this dish has potential, just could use something else.
