Pumpkin Pie Bread
About this Cook
I'm 27. I do most of the cooking for my husband and I. I'm an LVN but going to school for my RN. We don't have any children yet but we are hoping one day soon.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook everything really. I enjoy baking the best though.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Well both my parents have passed on now but I remember many holidays being in the kitchen with my mom cooking delicious food. My favorite was her chocolate pie. I always told myself I'd get that recipe and now I have it but have yet to make it with as much love as she did. Maybe one day I'll get it.
My cooking triumphs
I cooked my first turkey and didn't dry it out...yippee
My cooking tragedies
I made this key lime pie one time and it was the grainiest awful tasting pie ever. I don't know if I'll attempt this one again.

Italian Style Pork Chops
My husband and I really enjoyed these. I used club crackers and regular saltines. I didn't measure anything except the butter. I only put 2tbsp of butter and used about 1/3c olive oil for the rest. I had just enough for 4 chops. The smell is overpowering when you cook them but the taste is tamed. I will be keeping this recipe. Thanks.

Pumpkin Pie Bread
This bread is so good. I altered a little. I used 1 1/2c brown sugar and 1c white sugar. I used 1/2 applesauce and 1/2 oil. I melted a little cream cheese icing and drizzled it on the bundt cake I made. It didn't last long. This is a keeper and great for gifts!!!
