Bacon Wrapped Hamburgers

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2007
May sound crazy - but I make these with cream cheese instead of cheddar and/or parmasean, bread crumbs and more pepper! I mix up the meat without the cheese, roll into ball and burrow a teaspoon or so of cream cheese into ball, flatten out into patty, wrap the bacon and grill! Juicy & Yum, Yum, Yum!!

Cheesy Taco Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2007
I use Rotel, no taco seasoning and add in a can of red kidney beans. I just cook all this in large pot on stove top then place tortilla chips in bowl and pour it on. Delish!! Kids love it too

Kulfi

Who would have ever thought.......... this was incredible!! My son had to create an "Indian" dessert for a class project and this was a HIT. I went to school to help serve and all the kids agreed - this was the best dish there! Sooooo very easy and so very good! This made a lot (I filled 5 ice cube trays) and used miniture craft sticks to make it like a popcicle. Takes like a vanilla pudding pop. YUM YUM will definatly make over & over again.

Grated Potato Dumplings

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2006
After several years of eating at "Germany" at EPCOT, I deceided to make these! I used too large grater, but still worked well. I fried some onion in lots of butter and served that mixed w/ the dumplings. GOOD! I did use more salt. Wonder if garlic powder would taste good?

Firecracker Fried Chicken Drumsticks

Reviewed: May 30, 2006
Good, good, good! We only eat breasts so that is what I used. Did an egg wash w/ few splashes hot sauce in it. Dredged in flour/corn meal w/ cayenne. Marinated all day (8 hours). I've also used boneless/skinless ckn breasts and cut into strips for spicy tenders. Then melt 1/2 stick butter in saucepan, add bottle of tabasco and squirt of honey. I then pour this over the chicken or use as a dipping sauce! DELISH!

Cara's Creamy Stuffed Shells

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2006
I only used about 3/4 lb ground meat and about 1/2 box stove top stuffing mixed into the cooked meat mixture. That really put it over the edge and gave it great flavor! Needs more sauce too.

Sweet and Sour Smoked Sausage

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2006
Hate to have the descending opinion here, but this was just an okay recipe. Followed recipe exactly, except used more sauce so I could serve over white rice. It was okay, but not something I'd fix often.

Buffalo Chicken Strips II

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2006
I breaded my chicken breasts first and deep fried as my family likes the crunchy coating. Cut up into bite-sized pieces and used MUCH more hot sauce then recipe calls for 'cause we like 'em hot! Served on top of a mixed green salad with Bill's Blue Cheese Dressing (from this site). Yummy Yum Good!

Love it!! Have been looking for a recipe for this and it was wonderful. I did cut the sugar and the cornstarch and added bacon drippings. Served on fresh baby spinach, boiled egg, feta, diced red onion and crumbled bacon. UMM good!

Boiled Peanuts

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2005
We loved this! Added some liquid crab boil for a kick and only cooked 2 lbs of the peanuts. Once they came to a good boil, I then transferred them to the crockpot and cooked on low overnight and all next day. They were perfect! Made hubby quite happy :)
