Salsafied Chicken and Rice

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2008
5 stars! I will definately make this again. The calories aren't too bad if you use brown rice and stick to the portion size. mmmm!

Cake Mix Cookies VIII

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2008
I'm in heaven right now! I used yellow butter cake mix, added 1 T. of oil, and 1tsp. vanilla. For the last batch I threw in sprinkles, those were my favorite. I ate 3 in a row!

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2008
It's a keeper!! I love peanut butter and chocolate. I went back and forth between using a muffin pan and a cookie sheet. My cookies turned out looking the most attractive. I also had to use raw sugar in place of brown sugar. I couldn't tell the difference. Can't wait to share these on Thanksgiving!

Zesty Zucchini and Squash

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2009
Delicious recipe! As you can see in my pic I only had yellow squash. We enjoyed this zesty squash over rice with turkey meatballs. I did add a little water to stretch the sauce a little and added some chopped parsley. Saving this one!

Byrdhouse Easy Ginger Beef Sandwiches

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2009
The ginger flavor mixed with the garlic and soy sauce so well. The meat was so juicy. I loved it! The list of ingredients is short and easy to remember at the store. We ate this on toasted hoagies with provolone cheese along with Broccoli Slaw from AR. I ended up taking off my top bun so I could taste more of the beef. :) Next time I'd like to eat this over rice.

Chocolate Crinkles II

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2010
What a fun and different cookie?! I've never had these before. They are delicate and crispy on the outside and have a chewy-fudgy center. Using an average sized cookie scoop, I got 42 cookies.

Easy Smoked Salmon Pasta

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2010
Simple and perfect lunch! I doubled all ingredients except the pasta to make 4 lighter servings. Worked out to about 480 calories a bowl. I added some fresh chopped basil and a tsp. of minced garlic to the sauce. I can only imagine how tasty this would be with lemon squeezed on top!

Curried Coconut Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2010
This is one of my top ten favorite recipes on AR. I love it! We like to spice it up with 1/2-1 tsp. of red pepper flakes and always add a vegetable. I think a half cup of chunked pineapple would be a delicious addition as well.

Grilled Roasted Red Pepper and Ham Sandwich

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2010
Thank you for this idea! I used all of the key ingredients, cheese, ham and red pepper. But I made it lower cal by using a toasted english muffin and no butter. I'm sure it's excellent just how the recipe is.

I prefer these over a BLT sandwich. So good! I couldn't resist adding a little mayo.

Simple and satisfying meal. I added a can of drained green beans. I think the recipe submitter wanted this to be seasoned however you like. I used salt, pepper and basil.
