Fluffy White Frosting

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2009
Turned out just like marshmallow cream. I beat the frosting for at least 15 min. and it never fluffed up. I'm guessing I didn't beat the egg whites long enough. I might try this one more time.

Hash Brown Quiche

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2009
Delicious! We have made this several times. Tonight we topped ours with mushrooms and peppers. Left out the ham and had bacon on the side. I tripled the recipe since I was serving 8 people. This was my mom's bday dinner since she loves breakfast.

Glazed Meatloaf I

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2009
The glaze is excellent. I always make mini meatloaves in a muffin pan. Then they have nice browned edges. We ate this with Tater tot casserole II from this site.

Everyone in my family agreed that these green beans were great and should be made again. Yumms I had to add that I didn't add butter either. It will not be missed with all the bacon flavoring.

Lana's Sweet and Sour Meatballs

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2009
Great recipe! I made this meal for 6 adults. We probably could have fed one or two more people, it made a lot. My grandma and mother are not fond of meatballs but loved this! Sprinkle on some red pepper if you like some bite.

Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

Reviewed: May 27, 2009
Very light and moist! Mine were done at 21 minutes. I did replace the half cup (963 cal) of veg. oil with light apple sauce. Still delish. I'm taking them to a toddler play date tomorrow. They are 240 calories a piece with oil. 152 calories a piece with applesauce.

Rosemary Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2009
Pretty good. I used about 1/4 cup of fresh rosemary. I baked them for 30 minutes and they still didn't crisp up. So, I added another 10 min. then broiled them. Next time I will add more onion and maybe onion powder.

Ropa Vieja

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2009
Awesome Roast! I added a can of beef broth to cover the meat in the slow cooker. I accidently opened a bottle of white wine and used it instead of red. oops! I'm waiting for my Mexican Rice III on this site to be done so we can chow down. The meat was well done after being browned and then in the slow cooker on low for 5 hours.
