Smoky Bacon Wraps

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2011
My family loves this recipe, and I am always getting requests for it. I use maple bacon, cutting the pound of bacon into thirds and using colored toothpicks to hold them in place. You can also make these in the crockpot as well.

Mom's Country Gravy

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2008
I made this gravy last week to serve with mashed potatoes and fried chicken legs. It was delish! I was so proud of myself because I'm not the best gravy maker, but this receipe saved me! My boyfriend loved it. Tonight we are having biscuts and sausage gravy for supper, so I will use this receipe for my gravy again.

This is absolutely wonderful!! I left out the sausage and bacon bits and added a pinch of cinnamon. This is so much better than my chili recipe. Thank you. We have having this for the super bowl!!

Hashbrown Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2007
This recipe is very good, although I left out the butter and use the Cream of Chicken Healthy Campbell's soups. I have used a recipe like this over the years and I brown a pound of gound chuck, 1/2 a green pepper and 1/2 of an onion. We call it cheeseburger hashbrown casserole. We have also added polish sausage in the past instead of the hamburger.

Down Home Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2006
This was delicious! Since I don't care for celery and my boyfriend doesn't care for carrots, I used broccoli and cawliflower. The flavors were out of this world. We will definitely have this again, and again, and again . . . Thank you Lillian!

Had to drain the milk off and cook it another 30 minutes, then it was pretty good.

Beer Chops I

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2005
I tried this recipe and we loved it. I used four butterfly chops and didn't cut them in half. I layered the onion slices with the pork chops, used 3 cans of lite beer and 6 boullon cubes. It was delish on hawaiin roll buns. We will definately have this again.
