Fast Beef and Rice

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2010
I have been making this for a long time. Instead of using all water, I will use half tomato juice or v8, which ever I have on hand. I always put onion in the ground beef while I am browning it and season it with a bit of pepper and garlic salt. Sometimes I also add some green pepper and celery while I am browning the beef. It's a great quick, easy and filling dish!

Broccoli Cheese Soup V

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2010
Very good and super easy. I wanted an easy soup to make to warm us up and this did the trick. I used fresh broccoli because that was what I had and added some garlic pepper. Very good.

Very good, I served it with ham. Was a bit dry but made great sandwiches the next day.

Breakfast Pies

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2009
Really good and very easy. I didn't have any peppers when I was making them but they were really good without. I think next time I will put some cheese in the cup before I put the meat filling in.

Old-Fashioned Potato Pancakes

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2009
These were so good. They seemed to take a long time to cook. Maybe I didn't have the oil hot enough. We ate them with sour cream as a side dish to pork roast. I will be making them again soon.

Bagel Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2009
This is so good. I have made this a hundred times now. I have since started using a package of powdered ranch dressing mix for the seasonings, it turns out great. I serve this with onion bagels or a multigrain bagel. Everyone eats it up.

Creamy Horseradish Garlic Spread

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2009
I thought this was great. Just the right flavor and kick. My boyfriend, on the other hand, thought it wasn't strong enough. He loves hot and strongly flavored foods. Over all it is a good recipe thought. Guess I'll have to make it with stronger horseradish.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2009
We had this some time ago and I am making it again tonight. We loved this recipe. We had it on regular bakery hamburger buns and my boyfriend ate more on top of his baked potato. I will be keeping the recipe. It's easy and fast to throw together.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2008
So Good!!! I have made it about a dozen times now and am just getting around to reviewing it. I put in Velveeta cheese to make it a cheese soup with great results. I also cook the potatoes in the chicken broth. This has become my favorite soup. Thanks!

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2008
It was great! I used 3/4 cup blue cheese and 1/4 cup ranch, layered it, sprinkled some garlic salt over the cheese on top and baked it till it was bubbly and brown (I didn't want to use my crock pot). It turned out so good! Thanks so much for the great recipe!
