Campbell's® Cheesy Chicken and Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2012
We did like it, but there were a few issues. The biggest thing - it came out too soupy. I will make it again; however, I will change the following: I will use 1/2 the water. I will use saffron flavored rice and not plain. All in all - A solid recipe.

Paleo Slow Cooker Pork Loin

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2011
We tried this dish today. I wanted to love it. It has a lot of flavors that I adore. However, my husband and I agree that the recipe came out far too salty. Furthermore, the balance between the fruit taste and the curry was not properly balanced. If we try this again, I will definitely add more raisins and possibly more apple. I would also remove the salt from the ingredient list.

Spinach Bars

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2010
Great recipe. Hubby and I enjoyed; although, hubby would like for me to cook longer to make edges crunchier. I also made a goof and forgot the onion! Personally, I think the onion would have only made it better. So, I look forward to making it again - with the onions this time!

Chocolate Truffle Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2010
I really wanted to like this recipe, but it was way too chocolate-y. My husband and I both could not eat more than one cookie (together). I would not make this recipe again.

Pat's Cream of Potato Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2010
This is a pretty good soup. I'm not sure it'll be added to the main dinner rotation, but I'll probably make it again.

Sesame-Crusted Tuna with Summer Salsa

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2010
I really wanted to like this dish. The salsa is really quite good, but it can't change the fact that the tuna is just bland and plain without the salsa. I want my tuna to be delicious regardless of the sides/sauces.

Golden Potato Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2010
Everyone loved this recipe. The only issue was that I had to add 1/3 cup of AP flour to the milk (instead of the called for 2 tsps.) to get my soup to thicken.

Gourmet Mushroom Risotto

Reviewed: May 24, 2007
This was a BIG hit with our family. Clean plates- always nice to see. And wasn't too terribly time intensive. I did use faux butter instead of real butter, but otherwise I followed it precisely. Thanks for sharing this great recipe!

The hubby and I tried this and we loved it. Definitely something that I will be adding to my dinner rotation.

Pasta with Scallops, Zucchini, and Tomatoes

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2006
This is a great, simple recipe. I did, however, make some substitutions and exchanges: I changed the Bay scallops to Sea Scallops- and I still thought they were cooked a little long. When I do this again, I will cut it back a minimum of a full minute. I also added green onions and mushrooms to the mix. They turned out GREAT! I also decided to use dried basil instead of fresh. It allowed the flavors to really infuse. I will only use the fresh basil for garnish. As for the tomatoes, I did not add them with the Scallops. I let the scallops cook and added them to the hot pan, but removed them from the heat. They were sweet, but not mushy. My last comment: This dish is better the next day.

Figs Stuffed with Almonds and Chips

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2006
The hubby and I tried it; although, I changed the semi-sweet morsels to 85% cocoa chocolate. I'm sure the semi-sweet chocolate is much better. Overall, I will make them again.

Fondue with Tequila

Reviewed: May 27, 2006
This was a very bland recipe, IMO; however, we added some cumin late in the cooking process and that made a big difference. It went from uneaten to gone!
