Mimi's Slumgullion

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2006
Thanks for a new way to use kielbasa. My husband called it "Good German food". I liked it for a salty dish, and since it was easy and quick to make.

Super Moist Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2005
The coconut lovers in my family really liked this - and they are not big pumpkin bread fans. I liked it, but prefer the traditional route. Still, I'll make it again for others in the family.

This was very sweet and delicious. Thanks for the tip on peeling the squash - it worked great. Make sure you use a sweet apple.

Saltine Toffee Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2005
This was so easy and delicious. I forgot the nuts on top... I think they would help balance all the richness of the toffee and chocolate. My friends really liked them.

Slow Cooker Lemon Garlic Chicken II

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2005
I was surprised at how good this was, and how moist the chicken was. I used a little extra lemon juice and chicken stock, and I accidently cooked it an extra couple of hours, but it was still moist. It would be great over rice.

Pumpkin Cookies III

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2005
These were a big hit. It's kind of like eating a muffin cap. I made the batter plain, then added a few nuts, raisins, or chocolate chips to the top of each cookie before baking them, and made a few plain. The plain ones had a tendency to fall apart. I added 1/2 tsp. nutmeg. I'll make these every year!

Yummy Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2005
I used 1 cup of dressing and 2 tablespoons of soy sauce. I also added a couple splashes of lemon juice. Still, I felt it was too salty.
