I added a small can chopped jalapeno's and 1/2 chopped grean pepper also exchanged Lemon juice instead of lime (only had lemon)and (added beans i had on hand) 1 can light kidney and 1 can pinto beans...Really tasty Soup/chili and husband loved it!

Irish Cream Bundt Cake

Love this cake made one with and one without nuts. Loved them both. I used really cheap cake mix and pudding mix in one and couldn't tell the difference. Everyone at my meeting loved them both and gobbled them up.Will make again and again.

After-Thanksgiving Turkey Soup

This is the best turkey soup ever! The next time I make it I will add a little more celery and carrots but other than that it was amazing. I cooked all the bones in water for 1 hour and strained it all then put in fridge for 2 days cause I was so busy but when I went to make it wow it was so good. I did use 1/2 and 1/2 cream instead of milk and Jasmati rice (which I love the flavor of) but I can't say enough good about this oh except that the next day was even better! Made for a crown of 100 and they all lovvvvved it!

Spicy Hot Chicken Legs

These are sooo good. I used texas pete hot sauce and cut the recipe in half. My husband who hates the skin gobbled the skin up. Next time I might try and bake them the last 30 min. to crisp the skin? but really it's not nessasary. I served with rice and the sauce over the rice is yum yum. But spicy so beware!

Never Fail Pie Crust II

Excellent crust, sweet and flaky. I found I can't roll it on a floured board because it's too sticky, so it works out great to use fingers and press dough on wax paper. Other than that I love the taste.

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Good basic cookie but a little too crispy. Added 1 tsp vanilla and cut oats to 1 1/2 cups. Next time will use butter or 1/2 butter 1/2 shortening to make them not as crisp and buttery.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

This is a winner! I do add a tablespoon of curry powder to the meat mixture for an added flavor and also I put a layer of cheddar cheese in the middle of the loaf. I've made this many times with rave reviews.

Southern Potato Salad
