This was a great bread. I used a Newcastle Brown Ale and it made for great flavour. I made a bread bowl for spinach dip with it and it was a big hit. FYI to a previous reviewer - Sam Adams Lager is NOT a dark beer, no lager is. Go with a stout, porter, or a brown ale for a bit sweeter taste. Great recipe!

Best Spinach Dip Ever

I made it for my book club and it was a hit. Really good! I use the Rye Beer Bread recipe in this site to make a bread bowl and it was perfect. I also used the whole package of spinach as many others recommended.

Banana Cake VI

This was absolutely awesome. I didn't have buttermilk so I used plain lowfat yogurt and it came out great. I did have to bake it about 15 min longer than called for. I used a Dream Whip frosting as I didn't have any cream cheese...yum. I was looking for a banana cake for my son's first birthday and this is IT!

Soft Garlic Parmesan Breadsticks

These were quite good - the dough did not rise as much as it should have in the alloted time, but I wanted them ready for dinnr - next time I will allow more rising time. They turned out soft and cheesy - I used shredded parmesan instead of grated and sprinkled the top with garlic powder as well. I didn't need the second layer of butter or the broiler, the shredded cheese browned nicely on top during baking.

Quick Coffee Cake

This was really good and incredibly easy. I did add a bit more sugar and milk as others had suggested, and sprinkled crushed pecans on top as well. Next time I will swirl the topping in but either way this was really tasty - a keeper!

Lemon Pie II

This was so easy and so good! I froze it and served it that way with whipped cream on top - fantastic summer dessert. Creamy with a light lemony flavour, hard to believe it was so quick and simple to make.

White Chocolate Fruit Tart

This is fantastic. I used peaches instead of pineapple - personal preference - but I'm sure it would be just as good either way. I made it for a baby shower and it got rave reviews - it's a good thing I made two because they both disappeared. I made the crust and the filling the night before and just added the fruit and glaze in the morning - it was easy and delicious, this one will be a new favourite!

Chicken a la Camille

My husband is a big fan of anything with barbeque sauce and he loved this one! I sprinkled the italian seasoning on rather than using a bag to coat it though. Very fast and easy.
