Cousin Cosmo's Greek Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2010
This recipe was amazing!!!! I followed the recipe as written all but one minor detail. We had no spinach or any leafy green to put in the pan so I used the tomatoes and zucchini pieces. It turned out wonderfully! I have never made such an easy dish that packed so much flavour! I served the chicken with a side of lemon roasted potatoes, but I think it would be just as tasty with rice OR pasta on the side! Thank you for sharing this delicious recipe! It's a keeper at my house for sure!

Honeyed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2010
This recipe didn't turn out properly for me. I followed the instructions to a tee and my pork ended up tasting more like french onion soup than like something asian inspired:( And the 1 hour cooking time was WAY off..... my dish cooked at the proper temp and was done in 20 minutes!!! Thank goodness for meat thermometers cuz if I hadn't set mine while the meat cooked, and had set it to the specified time instead, my pork would have been WAY over done! I had high hopes for this recipe, because of the simple ingredients and easy instructions.... I think I will try this again but make a few modifications to make it less salty and oniony!

Banana Peanut Butter Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2010
This is a delicious recipe!! I took some of the suggestions from other users on here and made a couple changes as well. I did 1 3/4 cups of flour, I used 2 and 1/2 bananas and instead of walnuts I added Skor bits. Gave the same little crunch that a nut would, but adds an extra layer of flavour to an already awesome recipe! Another thought... if u don't want to compete with the peanut butter/banana flavour in the bread, why not substitute crushed peanuts for the walnuts?!!:)

Whipped Carrots And Parsnips

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2010
This was such a tasty side dish!!! Wow, I never expected to so thoroughly enjoy whipped carrots and parsnips!!! It took longer to peel the veggies than to cook them and whip them, but it was totally worth it! The only changes I made was I added a bit of paprika and nutmeg, everything else was as is and completely awesome!!!!

Grilled Sausage with Potatoes and Green Beans

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2010
Just tried this recipe tonight! It was a delicious way to enjoy sausages and BBQ at the same time:) The recipe was so simple, which was great, but also why I couldn't give it a 5 star rating. I feel like it may have tasted better with some garlic, or some dill added to have a little more excitement. The only thing to really flavour the dish was the polish sausage, which is great, but unless you get some sausage with every bite, the rest of the ingredients taste a little bland. Will make again, but definitely will add some more seasoning to help balance out the flavours!

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2010
This recpe was FANTASTIC!!! I followed the recipe exactly, but instead of doing just chicken, I added some veggies to the marinade as well! Whether you do just the chicken, or add green peppers, mushrooms and onion like I did, you are getting an easy recipe that is fresh, light and delicious!!!!

Zucchini Brownies

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2010
This recipe is delicious and amazing! I have made it twice now... and both times I followed the recipe exactly. One way to ensure a delicious result is not in the ingredients... its all about how you shred your zucchini!! The first time I made this, I used a food processor and used the shredding blade... the zucchini turned out bigger, and the brownie mix was much more dry. BUT.... the next time I made it.... I used a medium handheld cheese grater, got much more finely shredded zucchini, and the most incredible brownies I have ever had in my life! So, the more finely grated you can get it, the better!! So good! Thank you for this wonderful recipe!!!

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2009
This was the first time I ever used my slow cooker AND the first time I ever made stew! I was very impressed with the results I got from this simple recipe! It tasted delicious, and although I made a few subtle changes, I kept the spices the same and I was surprised at the amout of flavour I got! The only change I made was substituting some of the potato for some sweet potato... I like to use them whenever I can! And I cooked the onions and beef a little before putting it into the slow cooker, JUST to be on the safe side! Other than that, perfect recipe for a cold blustery day!
