Easy and Delicious Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2006
I tried this and can't stop eating it! Someone had suggested that it was really good on crackers - and now I scoop out a little each time I walk by! We had it over pasta - but my favorite is on crackers (probably a texture thing - the crunch). It would make a great party dip too! Thanks for the super easy recipe!!

Easiest Peanut Butter Fudge

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2006
I think my husband has gained 10 puonds! The last batch of this, I made a (small) plate for the neighbors and HE ATE THE REST! It is so unbelievably simple and fast to make. I used some of the modifications recommended and each time it is WONDERFUL!!! Thanks so much for the great recipe!

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2006
After trying several different recipes for alfredo sauce - I was skeptical when I saw the cream cheese. I was so used to buying the more expensive heavy whipping cream - I just wasn't sure. I will never go back!! This is the BEST sauce, so quick, easy and CHEAP to make!! Definitely whisk the entire time you are adding the cheese and I always use fresh garlic (just personal preference) for that extra kick!

Boiled Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2006
This is SO easy and tastes SO good! I put my chicken (usually boneless breasts) in the crock pot, cover it with water and add the salt, pepper, onions, carrots, celery (and garlic too) in chunks. Someone else had posted that it is then easier to pull out of the broth when you're done. Unbelievable flavor for both the broth and chicken. And in the crock pot it is absolutely effortless!! Thanks for the great recipe!!

Almond Crunch

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2006
Outstanding recipe!! I get GREAT reviews all the time and always requests for more! I make candy all the time, but ruined the first two attempts at this one. I found that the key is to slightly turn down (one notch as another reviewer suggested) the mixture once it does start to boil. I also leave the toasted pecans on the baking sheet and pour the mixture over it. After I spread out the chocolate, I sprinkle it with ground nuts (I always use pecans with this recipe). Rave reviews ever time!! Thanks for the wonderful recipe!

Barbie's Tuna Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2008
We LOVE this recipe! I told my friend that she HAD to try my new tuna recipe - she looked at the color and gave me a strange look! The dill and curry powder do give it an interesting color, especially if you are just expecting plain old tuna! We love it though - thanks for the great twist on an old favorite!!

Chicken Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2008
Wonderful! We had this for dinner tonight and my husband said that I should open a restaurant! So easy! I added Spike All Natural seasoning instead of seasoning salt (I ran out!) and marinated the chicken in a vidalia onion salad dressing for a little while before frying. I cut up the chicken into strips/chunks, skipped dipping them in the egg since they were already goopy from the salad dressing and fried them in the deep fryer for about 4-5 minutes at 360 degrees. WOW! It was so easy and I didn't want to mess with the pan frying. Thanks for a great recipe!!

Pecan Snack

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2008
Sickening!!! Truly - I ate so many the first time I made myself sick! These are so good, so easy and so quick to make! I have also used almonds and both turn out wonderfully. I tried to double the batch once, when making pecans and didn't add to the baking time. They were still great - not as crispy though. So, if I double it again, I'll probably add another 15-30 minutes to the baking time. (The softer batch was perfect for my grandma though - who loves these nuts but can't always eat things that are too hard.)

Slow Cooker Ham

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2009
SSOOO good! I read the reviews and thought - good grief, way too easy! I had bought a whole ham and had the deli slice it into 1/2 inch slices to freeze into portions. I took a few of the slices out - still frozen - and put them in the crock pot with just the brown sugar (no liquids) and after several hours it was INCREDIBLE! My neighbor stopped over during dinner and actually snitched a piece off of my son's plate!! :)

Cheeseburger Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2010
I HATE MEATLOAF!!! Actually, my entire family does. But we LOVED this!!! SO good! I changed the serving size to 3 pounds of beef and went with the adjusted recipe. Seperated the meat mixture in half and pressed into a 9x13 glass pan, sprinkled about 2 cups of shredded cheddar on top and then pressed the other half of the meat on top. I mixed ketchup and brown sugar and spread it on top. SSOOO good!!
