Pesto Sauce

Reviewed: May 6, 2008
Yummy! This was the first time I ever made Pesto sauce, and it was so easy. I added this to freshly made mashed potatoes and it was delicious.

Poached Pears

Reviewed: May 6, 2008
Very yummy and easy. I followed the suggestion of another user and added add the grand manier to the chocolate. But don't! Otherwise the chocolate will freeze up and get chunky. I had to throw it away. Instead, drizzle it over the final dessert. Also, i used wine instead of champagne.

Kiki's Borracho (Drunken) Beans

Reviewed: May 6, 2008
You cannot skip the beer on this recipe if you want to taste true borracho beans! The beer gives the juice such a famliar distinct taste, without it, they are just beans! I added a few slices of bacon in the beginning to add flavor and a bit of fat to keep from sticking. Also, i added a serrano pepper because the jalepenos did not make it hot enough.

Pizza Soup II

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2005
It didn't turn out how I expected it to. There was WAY too much pepperoni in it and that made it a little too greasy. Also, there was not enough liquid in it to call it "soup". I wouldn't make it again, but if you are planning on it, I would suggest adding more liquid and less pepperoni.

Fun Taco Cups

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2005
This recipe was really yummy! I made is as a meal instead of an appetizer. I added fried potatoes to the cups and served rice on the side. It takes about three cups to make a filling meal.
