Strawberries in Spiced Syrup

Reviewed: May 13, 2007
Huge hit at our housewarming party. It was requested for me to bring to the graduation party 2 weeks later. Kids loved it. Topped it with whipped topping. I had double the batch and I think I got 1 strawberry out if it. Went fast!

Great and Easy Recipe. I used real butter because I didn't have any shortning. I also added a tsp of vanilla. Wonderful flavor...Will make this instead of box mix from now on. Most of the ingredients are staples in my kitchen.

Summer Sausage

Oh my goodness. I can't believe how easy this is to make and how wonderful it tastes. Thank you for this recipe. I took 3 logs to Christmas Eve and Christmas Dinner and there was none left. My brother was asking me to make some with some deer meat he had. I will be making a lot of this and putting it in my freezer for a quick snack for unexpected guests. I bought 10 pounds of hamburger to make some so I would have it for New Year's Eve. I think I will add jalepenos to one batch. Thanks again for this easy recipe.

This is such an easy recipe to make....I cut corners and use the frozen stir fry vegetables, but the meat and the sauce have great flavor. Everyone goes back for seconds with this recipe. Thanks for sharing!

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2008
I made this for a group of people we had over and everyone loved it. I'll make this again. I had to change a few things because I was out, such as spicy beans and chili peppers. I substituted the spicy beans with regular chili beans and some rotel with green chilis. It still came out wonderful, so don't be afraid to tweak it to your taste.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2008
Wonderful!!! My lasagna always turned out dry and not much flavor....until now. This was a pretty easy recipe...not much kitchen time....mostly simmering time. Worth it!! The only thing I changed was that I used cottage cheese (24 oz) instead of Ricotta cheese because I didn't have any. Lasagna is my boyfriends favorite food and I hated making it because it never turned out good. Now, I can make it more often. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe.

Chocolate Mice

Very easy and so much fun! I didn't have anything for the eyes, so I just put a dot of red food coloring, but it ran and it made it look like their eyes had been poked out and they were bleeding profusly. It was pretty cool for Halloween!
