Pecan Turtle Bars

the butter pooled on top - the brown sugar, butter mixture needs to be heated to 250-300 degrees depending on different websites. need to try again. i would also add more pecans and chocolate.

Fruity Sweet and Sour Sauce

I would add more sour (vinegar and pineapple juice). I also added the ketchup. I also had to substitute flour and tapioca for the cornstarch because I was out (bummer!). Very good - taste as and modify as you go!

Blueberry Zucchini Bread

Delicious!! I also made a crumb topping with 1/4 cup oats, 1/4 c flour, and a bit of cinnamon and enough batter (~2 TBSP) to make it crumbly. I also added almost a cup more zuke. Wonderful!!

Belgian Waffles

i think my waffle maker just won't make true belgian waffles - yeast or not. the texture of these was great and were not super flavorful on their own (i think most waffles are that way and I like them like that). i probably wouldn't make them again because the amount of effort wasn't worth the product, but again i think that may be because of my machine.

Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies

I used about 1/4 cup of butter and 1/2 cup of shortening. I also used half brown sugar and half white sugar. I loved the addition of nuts, I used walnuts. Not much different then my regular chocolate chip cookie recipe. A little more rounded due to the crisco.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

It was very good. I tried it with both tilipia and salmon and it was delicious on both. I used the leftover (only a little bit) to dip artichoke in - and it was awesome. I did follow other reviewers and added some bread crumbs to help the dressing slip.

Eh... it was just ok. I was expecting more flavor. I think had I tried broiling them at the end that would have helped. Also, truly marinating would give more flavor.
