Cinnamon Belgian Waffles

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2010
Good. Light and fluffy to eat, but aren't what I think of as true Belgian waffles. They don't hold their shape well and are not as crispy on the outside as I would like. The are not very sweet (which I like). Would make again, but wouldn't expect Belgian waffles.

Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2010
I used about 1/4 cup of butter and 1/2 cup of shortening. I also used half brown sugar and half white sugar. I loved the addition of nuts, I used walnuts. Not much different then my regular chocolate chip cookie recipe. A little more rounded due to the crisco.

Excellent, Jared loved them. Used frozen zucchini, must make sure it isn't too liquidy.

Belle's Hamburger Buns

Perfect for sandwiches. Worked very well for Portabella mushroom burgers. Would make again. Make them larger, instead of making 12 I would make 6.

Waffles I

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2010
Excellent, nice and fluffy. If you like them crisp heat the oven slightly and put them in straight on the rack or on a cooling rack in the oven. They keep their crispness that way so the whole family can eat together.

Teriyaki Sauce and Marinade

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2010
Flavor was good, but too salty. I added cornstarch to thicken it and the consistency was good. I did use regular soy sauce, if I make it again I would use low sodium soy sauce.

Could have used more flavor and a little sweeter dough.

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2009
Flavor was good, at first, the texture was very hard and crispy though. Nothing soft and chewy. The butter was right out of the fridge when I started mixing not room temp. I may try this again with warmer butter but probably not. They softened as the sat on the counter the next few days and we ended up liking them fairly well.

Needed more flavor - adding more olives would help.

Baked French Toast

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2009
Good, a little soggy on bottom - probably could turn it and make it better. Great for guest, I would have as a side dish not as the main just because it is as sweet as cinnamon rolls.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars IV

Love these with real unadulterated peanut butter. If you want to measure - 1 cup of peanut butter weighs 8.75 oz or 245 g.
