Tangy Slow Cooker Pork Roast

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2013
Yum! Made with a 1.3 lb roast - didn't change the sauce, had no onions so i used carrots and celery on bottom. I also sprinkled the roast heavily with onion flakes.

Chicago-Style Pan Pizza

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2013
I used 1 lb of my regular "Jay's Pizza Crust" which I then divided. I used around 1/3 of it for the bottom of the 9x13 pan (it was VERY thin). I then layered pepperoni (half of 3.5 oz pkg), chicken (frozen, shredded - about 3 big handfuls), enough slices of monterey jack cheese to cover the meat and diced "italian" tomatoes in there sauce. I then topped with the remaining crust. Yum, yum, yummity, yum. Should make two if we have more then just the 4 of us.

Ginger Glazed Mahi Mahi

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2013
Flavor was good. Hubby thought the mahi mahi was a little fishy though. I wasn't in the mood for fish, so I was meh about it. Kids liked it ok.

My Country Style Steak

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2013
We do not like cube steak. Flavor was good though and if I used a better cut of meat I'm sure Hubby would think higher of it.

Wagon Wheel Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2012
Added chocolate chips and might follow the recipe for chocolatey chocolate cookies in ATK next time, but still coat them with powdered sugar - Hubby will still think they are close enough to wagon wheels.

Pad Thai

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2012
Very good, I used Thai curry instead of the red pepper. I also mixed the sauce before adding it to the pan.

Mushroom Cube Steaks

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2011
Not the recipes fault, cube steak is just not our cut of meat. It's stringy and chewy. The flavor was good.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2011
It was very good. I tried it with both tilipia and salmon and it was delicious on both. I used the leftover (only a little bit) to dip artichoke in - and it was awesome. I did follow other reviewers and added some bread crumbs to help the dressing slip.

Blueberry Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2011
Delicious!! I also made a crumb topping with 1/4 cup oats, 1/4 c flour, and a bit of cinnamon and enough batter (~2 TBSP) to make it crumbly. I also added almost a cup more zuke. Wonderful!!

Fruity Sweet and Sour Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2011
I would add more sour (vinegar and pineapple juice). I also added the ketchup. I also had to substitute flour and tapioca for the cornstarch because I was out (bummer!). Very good - taste as and modify as you go!
