Cheesy Creamed Spinach

I used less cream (probably half the amount called for). I thought with the amount of cheese used it was rich enough. It was delicious!

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Added bacon...used less mayo...used shredded pepper jack instead of parm. Hardly got to taste it because it disappeared FAST!

South Indian Chickpea Salad

I loved the combination of ingredients, but found the lack of seasoning to be a bit disappointing. I added a little cayenne and fresh cilantro, which definitely helped. Overall, refreshing and tasty.

Fish Tacos

Great recipe and just what we were looking for. Made a huge batch for about 12 people. Young and old all loved it. The only change I made was swapping out the dill and using fresh cilantro instead.

This was a super simple recipe and a definite keeper. The only change I made was to add a little garlic powder. I used my food processor to shred the potatoes and onion. I doubled the batch and made the pancakes small...ended up with about 40 pancakes which was perfect for the party I took them to.

Brandied Orange and Cranberry Sauce

This was good, but I didn't get the method of cooking the zest in 2 cups of water and then draining it to a 1/3 of a cup. Next time, I would just use less water. I also used about 1/2 the sugar.

Pasta Primavera with Italian Turkey Sausage

I used a lot less olive oil to cut back on calories, and added just a bit of the pasta cooking water (though I liked one reviewer's idea of Madiera wine better!). Overall, very good and easy!

Springtime Quiche

This is a nice, flavorful take on a traditional quiche. This dish was not heavy at all as one reviewer posted. I had really thin asparagus, but I could see how partially cooking the asparagus first might be necessary as another reviewer posted. Thanks for the recipe, Anna!

Thai Noodle Salad

I thought this salad was great! I made a few changes, but nothing that made a big difference from the original recipe. I used soba noodles instead of udon and I used light coconut milk instead of regular milk. I also cut back on the amount of sesame oil - I find it too strong of a taste to use a whole tablespoon.

Best Ever Jalapeno Poppers

These were a huge hit! Based on a combination of other reviews, I used buttermilk instead of milk and used panko breadcrumbs instead of regular. I also blanched the peppers for several minutes to soften them up. Time consuming, but worth the effort!

Chicken Wing Dip

I'll give this 5 stars even though I didn't try it. Everyone that I served it to loved it. Based on some of the other reviews, I used blue cheese dressing and I agree that Frank's is a must.

Mom's Chicken Cacciatore

Made a huge batch of this for a big family gathering...everyone loved it. Made a few changes, based on other reviews. Used red wine instead of white and a ton of garlic. Finished the dish off in a slow cooker which worked great. Definitely don't skip the step of coating the chicken with flour...makes a big difference in the sauce.

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

I made this for Valentines for my hubby and it is insanely yummy! He can't stop raving about it. I agree with the one review about the water bath. Mine cracked, although it still tasted incredible. A real keeper...thanks Cindy!
