Baked Chicken Nuggets
There were really super good. I didn't have bread crumbs, so I used crushed up Ritz crackers. Also, although I usually prefer to use fresh parmesan, I used the sprinkle kind that comes in a shaker. This seemed to distrubute better throughout the mixture and helped in getting a good coating on the chicken before cooking it. The teenagers LOVED them. Definitely a keeper!

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread
I will never use a pre-mixed cornbread again! This recipe is a huge hit with everyone! I made it in a cast iron skillet, which made the edges a little crispy. YUM! Definitely a keeper!

Best Ever Banana Bread
Truly the Best Ever Banana Bread! I doubled the amount of mashed bananas becuase I had ripened bananas that needed to be used. I also sprinkled sugar and cinnamon over top of the batter before baking...this made sort of a crunchy cinnamon topping when it was done. Took the bread to a party and served it with homemade honey butter (real butter mixed with honey - whipped until smooth). The combination of the bread and the honey butter was a huge hit! It was one of the first things to disappear. Yummy! Definitely a keeper.
