Quinoa and Black Beans

This recipe was a good one. I didn't have frozen or canned corn so I didn't get to add that in. Next time I make it, I will be sure to have corn on hand. I think I may add some chopped bell peppers next time too. Great dish.

Cauliflower and Broccoli Bake

The children and I enjoyed this recipe very much. Husband was so-so but then again he's not a big fan of creamy-type foods. After reading some of the reviews, I eyeballed most of my measurements and just kept an eye on consistency/thickness while making the cheese sauce. It came out just fine. Will definitely make again without hesitation. Thanks for the submission.

Lime Chicken Soft Tacos

i found the recipe to be good but think it could use a bit more flavour. next time, i'll take the other reviewer's advice and add cilantro. the kids loved it and asked that i make it again. the husband even ate it without complaining. i found the tortilla bread broke too much so next time i'll use pita pockets.

Slow Cooker Vegetable Beef Soup

there's nothing better than coming home to the great aroma of this soup even before i opened the front door. there's nothing i would change in this recipe. it was a hit with the whole family and i will most definitely make again.

Green Bean and Mozzarella Cheese Salad

made the salad as a side for my dinner. wasn't bad but wasn't fantastic either. i used another user's suggestion and used 1/2 cup mozzarella and 1/2 cup monterey jack for a bit of kick. will probably make again but probably not as my first choice.

Sausage Barley Soup

this was my first crockpot recipe ever. i prepared the ingredients the day before and i threw everything in the next morning. husband tried some at lunch and called me at work to say the soup was good. son and daughter enjoyed the soup too. i enjoyed the soup; however, found it a tad bit salty even though i added no salt. next time i will substitute some of the broth for water. this one's a hit in our house and i especially appreciate dinner being ready when i get home from work. will definitely make again!

muffin tasted very good. i used walnuts instead of hazelnuts because i didn't have any at home. i wish i had read the reviews before i made them because i would've substituted the butter for applesauce (i thought the butter content was quite high). i also used dried sweetened cranberries instead of fresh. i omitted the figs simply because i didn't have those either. not sure if i'll make them again, husband and kids weren't raving. also, i find 300 cal for one muffin a bit high.

i made this recipe because i was very excited about the calorie count and the quick time to make it. it was okay. not fabulous but not bad either. next time i make it, i'll use another user's suggestion and chill it for a bit before serving.

i made this recipe without the parsely because i forgot to buy it. however, i did take the other user's suggestions and added more garlic. it was wonderful. the cheese really added some kick to it too. next time, i'll try to remember the parsley and will definitely be making this again.
