Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2012
Good recipe. I have an idea, for those of you with dry meat that works for me. Coat the chicken with 2 tablespoons cornstarch, 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon white pepper. Let the chicken stand 30 minutes at room temperature. Using a wok makes it easy to cook using high heat. I use a sweet soy sauce which is like syrup (half the sodium content) and helps to thicken up the sauce faster. Up for your consideration try using crushed red peppers in place of the hot sauce and a few chopped green onions for a garnish. Thanks for the recipe Kate. :) iota

What a great tasting and easy recipe. Never used a pork butt roast before and it was well worth the difference in the price. (pork butt @ 2.89 per pound or boneless pork ribs @ 5.49 per pound). Thank you for the recipe KMB233. iota

Great recipe. I have made this several times and what a hit. The last time I made it, I prepared it a day ahead and keep it in the frig. Then I cooked it a few minutes longer until hot and bubbly. I think it tasted even better. Thanks Donna

What a wonderful cake, just moist enough to melt in your mouth. I served it with coffee and ice cream. After reading other reviews, I packaged and froze half the cake before serving. Glad I did, because I could have made an oinker out of myself. Thanks for the recipe Holly. iota

Make Ahead Manicotti

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2005
Great recipe and easy to make. I do us fresh chopped spinach for taste and texture. Also I split the manicotti before filling them, using a ziplock bag. There easier to fill with pre measured amount of filling and then roll up like a Cannelloni. Thaks for the recipe Sandir. iota
