Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

I made this recipe as is and it was superb! I've never had homemade brownies before and this just converted me! No more box recipes because this is a winner!!!

This is by far the BEST filling. I didn't change a thing. However, next time I may add a few more apples since mine were small apples. The taste is excellent. It's not too sweet! Thank you so much for putting this up Terri.

Easy Sugar Cookies

Soft cookie (as long as you don't leave them in too long). However, they don't spread out like I'm used to so if you make a ball, flatten it. Might be the lack of humidity where I'm at that creates this since I am at a higher elevation. Good taste!

No Drip Ice Pops

I am completely impressed! I bought some twist up pop containers at Walmart and then saw this recipe. I used fresh strawberries and strawberry gelatin. I used plain yogurt but didn't skimp on anything by making it fat-free because I wanted my kids to have the extra calories since they are so young. Normally I don't like yogurt and can't stand gelatin. These things ROCKED! I loved the taste of them and they really don't drip. My kids adored them and now we have a new favorite snack that's healthy and fun to make for all.

Amish Cinnamon Bread

I received this recipe from a friend. The problem that I had was her's wasn't very legible. I ended up doing a 10 day starter process and then another 5 days. That's when I came on and looked at Ginger's recipe. She makes it so clear with her step-by-step instructions. Very well written. The bread is awesome! I love the fact that you can use this recipe when you move into a new neighborhood to get to know everyone. Pass it out. I also plan on giving some loaves with Starter packs to teachers at my daughter's school. Ginger, you are a life saver. Thanks for posting this recipe.

Hot Chocolate Mix I

I actually got this recipe from a friend when I lived in Korea and it is the absolute best Hot Chocolate. I always suggest that people tailor the recipe to their liking because some people like it sweeter than chocolate and vice versa. I usually use about a 1/4 cup of the mix in a cup of hot water and I add less milk. I need to try the flavored coffee creamer. Thanks for the suggestions.

Blue Ribbon Sugar Cookies

The oil saturated the recipe. Cut it down to 3/4 of a cup and you should be good to go. I also didn't use the lemon extract. However, I wanted this recipe so that I could make ladybug cookies. I added some black food coloring (Wilton's) in the recipe and my cookies came out black. I decorated with half circles of red icing, smoothed out with a knife and used mini-chips for the spots. Use the canned icing with tips for ease of use. These are the best tasting sugar cookies around! Tip: Don't let your cookies cool too long on the pan because they break when you take them off.
