Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2013
Oh. My. Goodness! This was delicious!! I used Pillsbury pie crust sheets, a rotisserie chicken, some extra carrots and peas, and I doubled the sauce (use Campbell's Chicken Broth) using enough to cover the chicken mixture. I made it in a round casserole. I will definitely make this again!

Wonderfu recipel! I did boil them in salty water for 15 minutes first as some other reviewers suggested and have to say that made them perfect!

I followed the recipe exactly, but for us this was dry and flavorless.

Amber's Sesame Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2006
Oh my goodness!! This recipe is absolutely fantastic. If I could rate it a 10, I would. The only thing I did differently from the recipe is that I tripled the sauce, as suggested by other reviewers.

Pasta Shells with Portobello Mushrooms and Asparagus in Boursin Sauce

Reviewed: May 4, 2006
While it makes me crazy when people rate these recipes 5 stars and then go through all the changes they made to get to five stars, I must admit I made a couple changes to this recipe....and it was fantastic! SO, here goes: instead of mushrooms (because my kids really don't care for them), I sauteed chicken in the butter and olive oil. I used a full pound of pasta, 2 cups of broth and two bricks of garlic herb Boursin (because we love it!). Here's a tip for those who think Boursin is too expensive - - Costco sells it for $5.88 for two boxes, which is less than what most grocery stores sell just one box for. Great recipe!!

Cheesiest Potato Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2006
This recipe was very good. I served it with popcorn and a crusty, hot ciabatta. I will definitely make it again....and may even try substituting some of the chicken broth with beer to make a potato beer cheese soup.

Cajun Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2006
This had great flavor, but it was way too soupy for my family. I will definitely make it again, but will cut down significantly on the cream and will likely add grated parmesan to the sauce to thicken it a bit.

I have never really cared for baked beans, but LOVE this recipe. I have been making it for several years now, and always get rave reviews when I serve them.

Baked Potato Soup I

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2006
This is the second time I have reviewed/rated this recipe because it is wonderful! I made some slight modifications to last night's batch, and think I have truly perfected it to suit my family's tastes. I used only 1/4 cup of flour, and for the liquid I used 2 cups of half and half, 1 can of Campbell's Chicken Broth, and four cups of milk. Yummy!!

Gerry's Chicken Enchiladas

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2006
This recipe is excellent and my family really enjoyed it. I would make it again in a heartbeat, and wouldn't hesitate to serve it to company. I used McCormick's Grill Mates Southwest Marinade for the chicken and added a can of diced green chilles. Outstanding!

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2006
I searched quite a few lasagne recipes online yesterday and decided on this one based on its 5-star rating. WOW! It is fantastic! My family was groaning all day that I was making lasagna for dinner, but couldn't stop raving about how good this recipe was once they started eating it. The only things I might try differently next time is to use a 10 x 14 pan (with a few more noodles) and to double the ricotta layer. Other than that, I wouldn't change a thing.
