About this Cook
I am a 25 yr old Wife and Mother of one, one year old...
My favorite things to cook
My husband is VERY health conscience and I'm a vegetarian so I don't get to cook this very often but last Valentines Day I made him Filet Mignon...It looked very elegant and he loved it!
My favorite family cooking traditions
The more the merrier is basically the only tradition we have :)
My cooking triumphs
Making my first ever cheesecake...I didn't think I could do it but it came out PERFECT! Not too heavy not too cracks!!!
My cooking tragedies
I tried to make a White Chocolate Raspberry cake this Christmas...It came out WAY too sweet and VERY dry! Oh Well! Thats Life! :)

Basic Flaky Pie Crust
I had a REALLY hard time with this. It was impossible to roll out. It looked like cookie dough. I followed the recipe exactly...Not sure what I did wrong! I'm throwing out a whole pie tonight and hoping I can grab one in the morning before Thanksgiving dinner! Thanks anyway!

Carrot Cake III
I didn't change anything! Perfect the way it was! The frosting was good, but a little too sweet for me. Thanks!!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies
HOLY DELICIOUS COOKIES BATMAN!! These are the BEST chocolate chip cookies I've ever made or eaten!!! I used two TBS of vanilla like another reviewer suggested and used Hershey's Special Dark chips just because thats what I like. And I used baking powder rather than baking soda because I didn't realize I was out of baking soda until I got started. I'm sure they'd be even more delicious with walnuts but my niece has nut allergies so I couldn't use them this time! YUM thanks for a great recipe!
