Aunt Kate's Green Beans in Tomatoes

This is a great way to use green beans straight out of the garden! I made a few changes- instead of diced tomatoes I used a pint of crushed tomatoes and 5 fresh minced basil leaves. I added 1/4 cup chicken broth, 1/2 tsp cinnamon (my husband loves cinnamon in anything with a lot of tomatoes), and about a tablespoon of fresh-squeezed orange juice when I added the green beans. Everyone (picky children included) loved it! Thanks for a great, versatile recipe!

Whole Wheat Bread III

This bread turned out great,although a bit sweet for my taste. Next time I will try leaving out the sugar. I used my bread machine to make a dough and then allowed it to rise & baked at 350 for 25 minutes.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Everyone loved this soup! I used 1 quart of tomato juice instead of 8 oz. of tomato sauce and left out the beer. I also used only one kind of bean. The soup was spicy & delicious! Thank you for this wonderful recipe.

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

This chicken is the most requested food I make! From my 2 yr old to my husband, everyone loves this chicken! I always serve this with plain white rice with the pan drippings from the chicken mixed in! The rice is just as popular as the chicken!
