Gluten-Free Fudge Brownies

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2011
Followed advice of others using the 9 x 13 pan. It was weird...it raised a lot around the edges, and sunk in the middle. Made for a very thin, crumby brownie. Taste was ok, but don't think I will make again :(

Simple, easy, yummy! Used not quite as much onion, gluten free brown rice pasta and Buittoni pesto. Absolutely fabulous.

Very good, I followed the advice from a previous poster, used lots of butter, garlic, seasoning (not the old bay), salt & pepper...baked for 25 minutes with foil, then uncovered and topped with mozzarella, baked for another 10 minutes.....yummy!!!

Savory Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2009
This was good, I used oyster crackers (put in my word processor to grind up) and I used Cheddar Cheese instead of swiss. Kids loved it, will make again.

Simple Hamburger Stroganoff

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2009
I should've listened to what previous posters said, when to use 4 oz. cream cheese instead of 8. It just makes it extremely rich, its still very good, but very rich tasting..

Boston Baked Beans

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2009
Well, I didn't have the best of luck with this recipe:( It took about 4 hours to cook. I did soak them, I did boil for two hours, then I baked them and had to for 4 hours and they were still hard:( Oh well, I gave it a shot.

Home Style Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2008
Great tasting mac n cheese. I did however add a few things: I put in chopped onion to the sauce, added extra cup of cheddar cheese, about 6 ounces of cream cheese, added 1 1/2 cups sliced ham (cut in chunks) and instead of bread crumbs I melted some margarine and put in crushed Ritz Crackers and used that for the topping. Very good!

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread II

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2007
My breads sunk in the middle so they weren't pretty to look at. The bottoms stuck to the bottom of the pan despite greasing the pans. Very dark colored bread and the chocolate chips went to the bottom of the pan. Kind of disappointed:( Oh well....

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2007
Great recipe, I did change a couple of things:) I just put the breasts in the cooker with Original Mrs. Dash, the margarine and a splash of cooking wine. And I added fresh Parmesean cheese on top to make it a little gooey. It needs a bit more of a "bite" to it, I don't know if the Italian seasoning would give enough bite.... Anyhow, this is a good one to experiment with.

Yummy sauce, I'm using this recipe for my sauce from now on! I didn't put in the sausage because I don't like it, just used ground beef. It was wonderful!

Pumpkin Whoopie Pies

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2007
This is a great recipe! I made everything the way it was written, but would change the filling to either a cream cheese frosting or a marshmallow type filling, because of the amount of shortening. But it was great, very yummy!
