Apple Crisp Cups

although the idea of this recipe sounded delicious, when it was done, i was wishing i made a real apple crisp pie instead. there was just too much crisp on the bottom (my fault, i know) and not enough apples. plus, i didnt really like the taste of the crisp either. not really a fan of using oats in a crisp. gives it too much of an oatmeal taste to me.

Buttery Soft Pretzels

I've never made pretzels before so this was my first shot. And let me tell you, most delicious pretzels I've ever eaten! The dough itself is very tasty and the recipe is easy! Highly recommended.

Pumpkin Turkey Chili

Absolutely delicious! I tweeked it a little bit. Used red pepper instead of yellow, added about a 1/2 cup frozen corn and a can of red kidney beans. Also, I added about a 1/8 tsp. of red pepper flakes when sauteing the onion/peppers. Also added about a 1/2 tbsp ground cumin. Once it was simmered, I happened to add more chili powder and cumin. Overall, what a delicious chili dish!

Pumpkin Bread IV

This was my first pumpkin bread I've ever made and it turned out delicious. I'm allergic to eggs so I used the Ener-G egg replacer and the bread still turned out moist and fluffy. SOO good! (My friends even liked it a lot!) Also, I happened to only have 3 cups of sugar in the house so I used 1 cup of brown sugar. Still turned out great!

Honey Lime Chicken Wings

Since my family does not like fried food, I tried it in the oven like one person suggested at 400 for 45 minutes. Chicken did not get crispy nor did the glaze really stick. Guess I'll have to fry it next time.

Soy Milk Pancakes

Excellent pancake recipe! I've tried a lot of pancakes recipes on here and this one was the best. I'm personally allergic to milk AND eggs so I substituted the eggs for a banana like a reviewer suggested and they tasted great! They had a hint of a banana taste which I loved!

Maple-Balsamic Vinaigrette

I made this dressing and used it on a romaine lettuce salad with grilled chicken and bacon. The dressing itself was a bit too sweet for me but the bacon definitely balanced the sweet with the salty.
