Gnocchi Bake

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2005
I was looking to do something different with gnocchi's then just throwing gravy or butter on them and this is pretty good. I also used TraderJoes Gnocchi's but since others said kinda bland I used Trader Joes Roasted Red Pepper Sauce instead of regular spaghetti sauce plus low fat ground sausage and light mozzarella. Turned out actually quite spicy. My 3yr old wouldnt eat but we liked. Next time I think I'll tone it down a bit but if you want a kick try The Trader Joes sauce

absolutely delish! Everyone ranted and raved about this roast! Not salty at all. The only thing I did different is stuff with garlic cloves and added more seasoning salt. A must try and will be a regular at Christmas. I also want to try this method on other meats. Thank you!!

Roasted Red Pepper and Tomato Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2005
WOW I love this sight but rarely rate anything this is top notch!! I used tomatoes from the garden and instead of the peeling/seeding I just put them thru my juicer. Didnt have all red peppers so one orange, yellow, red. Also added fresh chopped basil and shredded zuchinni(got use it up) I did not puree the vegetables (like it chunky). I'm not a tomoto fan but this I have to make more when the rest of the tomatoes ripen its soooooo good!!!!!
