Whatch You Want Watermelon

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2007
You can't even taste the vodka. We tested it out again with really cheap vodka and still couldnt taste it, which was amazing. Watch out, you will get drunk and not see it coming. Use seedless watermelon- the seeds got annoying. def give it hours to soak.

Camp Cornbread

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2007
I combined this with another recipe and it turned out absolutely perfect. I added an extra egg and a dollop of sour cream to the batter. (That made it very moist but not mushy like the other recipe). I made muffin sizes to reduce cooking time to about 17 minutes.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: May 25, 2007
yuck! the refrigerater biscuits really ruined the meal. I guess I am just used to home made dumplings... what a difference in flavor. The refirgerator biscuits really cheapened the flavor.

Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes

Reviewed: May 25, 2007
WOW! really good. I used slightly less milk and a half cup more cheese. Extra sharp cheddar is the key. I added corn. Oh yes, I made this in the crockpot by slicing the potatoes and onions (sautee the onions first) and just let those cook in the crockpot. thirty minutes before it is done add the cheese sauce and corn.

Easy Caramelized Onion Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2007
I made this in the crockpot. I cut the liquid amount significantly and added beef bouillon ("better than bouillon" brand)and a drop of soy sauce, a drop of worcestershire sauce, and two cloves of garlic. I did not add salt since soy sauce is salty. I added mushrooms to make it look more sophisticated. I served it with wild rice and asparagus. The rice wentperfectly with the chops but the asparagus didnt seem to compliment the meal too well.

Chicken Milano

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2007
incredible. I put all ingrediants in the crockpot except the cream and basil. I added those ingredients at the end. I doubled the sauce but did not double the amount of cream, so essentially I used half the cream recommended. It was fantastic. Oh and I used the sundried tomatoes that come in a jar of oil since that was all the grocery store sold. It was still fantastic!

Easy Corn Pudding

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2006
The first time I made this recipe I added two eggs like other reviewers suggested and it was fabulous. The second time I made it (this time for a crowd) I forgot to add the second egg, but it was still delicious. When I make it again I will add the second egg though; it was better.

Mom's Yummy Sweet Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2006
I made this for picky eaters who will not eat onions or celery. I boiled the onions and celery for a while and then removed them from the butter. I didnt have turkey on hand so I made chicken stock out of "better then boullion." It was packed with flavor.

Michelle's Famous Washed Cranberry Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2006
Based on another reviewer's recommendation, I squeezed juice from two oranges to get about a 1/2 cup of juice and used my potatoes peeler to scrape small bits of the orange peel into the mixture. the water was reduced to 2/3 since orange juice was added. I also added a bit of pumkin pie spice since it is a combination of all the right spices. I wish I doubled the recipe.

French Fried Potatoes

if you don't dry it well enough the oil wil pour out of the deep fryer. I don't know if the sugar is what makes it crispy. I had to double fry mine.

I added a teaspoon of crushed red pepper. The recipe didnt make enough sauce for the pound of pasta in my opinion.
