About this Cook
I am a part-time student, a wife to an amazing man, and mother to 3 beautiful children. When I first joined this site 6 yrs ago I joined to learn to cook for my family. My kids were on a gluten casien free diet and I was a vegetarian, then later a meat-eater now after the new year (2012) I again follow a vegetarian lifestyle and I have a sensitivity to gluten so I try to avoid eating that. A lot of my reviews are going to be tweaked (as I always have) to be healthy gluten free and vegetarian dishes.
My favorite things to cook
Vegan/vegetarian dishes, gluten free dishes, Asian, Mexican, and Italian.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Licking the beaters ;) Don't worry after I am done using them.
My cooking triumphs
I think everytime I make a vegan dish my meat eating husband likes it's a triumph :)
My cooking tragedies
Honestly there have been alot of mistakes in my cooking adventures but you live and you learn right? I really like to change recipes and make them my own. Sometimes it's great and sometimes.....not so great. But I am not afraid to make mistakes in the kitchen I always learn from them.

Chili Dog Casserole II
This was surprising really good. I boiled my hotdog before I baked them and I also used homeade chili. Thanks!

Buttermilk Pie I
I might have done something wrong I don't know but this pie tasted like sweet scrambled eggs. It needed some other kind of flavor also besides the vanilla, maybe somekind of citrus fruit rind or juice. I also had to bake it for like 1 hr 15 min.
