Sangria! Sangria!

YUMMY! Made these for a Southern Living party and although I think I drank the majority everyone like them. First time making anything with pomegranite but it was easier than i thought.

Sausage Bowties with Artichokes

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2008
I wasn't sure about this recipe because I have never cooked anything with artichokes before but we were pleasantly surprised. Only thing I did different was add some soy sauce on top after being served into bowls. Will make again!

Loved it! My husband even ate it all week in the morning for breakfast. I experimented with the cheeses added bacon bits with the mix and a sliced tomato on top.

I got rave reviews over these at our Memorial day party. Several people asked for recipe. I used sprite and corona like other reviews suggested. It def. does the job :)

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2008
I'm not a big meatloaf fan but this recipe was wonderful. Definitely put the brown sugar and ketchup on the bottom to avoid it getting mixed in with all the fat that comes up through the top even if you use extra lean ground beef which I did. I added red pepper flakes to add some kick, 1 clove crushed garlic, green bell peppers, splash of werstershire sauce, Ritz crackers (that’s all I had), and cut back on the milk to ½ cup. VERY YUMMY!

Goat Cheese and Spinach Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2008
Great Recipe! My kids even ate it. I tweaked it a little by adding a clove of crushed garlic, red pepper flakes, dried minced onion, and cooked them in the skillet instead of the broiler. Will make again!

Spicy Polynesian Wrap

Reviewed: May 1, 2007
Wonderful Recipe! Different from anything we have ever had. I made it according to the recipe the first time and next time I will make the spicy pineapple sauce to go with it.
