Tofu and Veggies in Peanut Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2008
I wasen't very impressed with this recipe. I don't know if I didn't follow the directions right, but this was not so good. The sauce was thick, with the look and consistancy of brown gravy and I wasen't fond of the sweet and peanut buttery taste.

Best Spanish Rice

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2008
Wow! This was the best and easiest Spanish Rice recipe I have ever made. I made tacos with this rice all in about 25 minutes and it turned out fantastic! This rice got rave reviews from everyone in my family.

Frijoles I

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2007
I made this for my family of picky eaters and they ranted and raved. We live close to the border, so I just picked up some flour tortillas and some tostadas and and added the beans, then cheese, lettuce, and salsa. These were to die for!! I love using a recipe that tastes authentic, but does not contain lard or having to fry! Thanks a bunch

Curly Noodle Dinner

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2007
I was so impressed with this meal! Not only did I happen to have the ingredients, but it looked and tasted like I had spent a lot of time preparing this wonderful creation!! I did what the previous reviewer suggested and didn't add the water. Also, I used ground turkey and chicken flavored ramen noodles instead of the beef because that is what I had on hand

Buttery Almond Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2007
Wow these were great! In fact, I'm eating one right now. The really cool part about it was that I happened to have all 5 indredients on hand and was able to whip these up in a flash. These taste just like the ones my grandma used to make. Sadly, they were not a favorite of the kids mainly because of the almonds, but oh well. This just means there are more cookies that I don't have to share!! Thanks for the great recipe.

Tomato Pasta Toss

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2007
Thank you so much Rebecca for helping me make an excellent meal when I only had two garden tomatoes left! My family raved about this meal. The only things I did diferently was adding 1 teaspoon of basil and oregano and I used 2 tomatoes instead of one. Thanks a bunch!! :)

Lentil Chili

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2007
This recipe is a keeper. I was so thrilled to actually have all of the ingredients for this recipe in my kitchen! The only thing I didn't have was the can of chickn broth, which I supstituted for 6 cups of water and 2 vegetable boullion cubes. It turned out great!

Home Style Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2007
This recipe was excellent. I would give 10 stars if I could!!! I read the other reviews and doubled the macaroni and used club crackers mixed with butter instead. This is one of the best mac and cheese dishes I have ever tried.

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2007
This was absolutely devine! My family and friends consumed these cookies in less than a day. I rolled the cookies in sugar as one reader mentioned to make them crunchy and when they were done stuck them in the freezer for 10 minutes to keep the chocolate from running. They came out perfectly!!

Hamburger Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2007
This recipe was the bomb! My husband and I just loved it. The only thing I did different was I used ground turkey and a larger can of diced tomatoes instead of the smaller can of crushed. Also, to make it a bit healthier I used only half of the amount of butter and flour. The soup was still very flavorful but with half the calories and fat. Thanks Sandra for for giving my family such a superb recipe!

Spinach Salad with Peaches and Pecans

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2006
This salad was awesome and got rave reviews from the ultra picky husband! The only things I changed were adding fresh parmesean cheese and I drizzled honey over the pecans before baking. Also, the 1/4 cup of poppy sead dressing seemed to be too much and made the spinach leafs a little soggy, so I had to add a cup more spinach. So you might want to add dressing to taste instead of pouring the whole 1/4 cup in like I did.

Easy Pizza Sauce III

Reviewed: May 14, 2006
This is an wonderful pizza sauce for children, like mine, who do not like sauce with tomato chunks in it. I added one teaspoon sugar to it and used 3/4 of the can of the tomato sauce. When I used the whole can, it turned out a bit runny for my taste (but still good:)

This recipie was awesome!! I tried this recipie instead of the other 200 chocolate chip cookie ones because it required less butter and sugar. My children, who are extremely picky eaters, could not get enough! This is the best cookie recipie I have ever used from here.

Luscious Spinach Artichoke Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2005
This recipie is wonderful! I made this for an appitizer last Thanksgiving and everyone wants me to make this again for the hollidays. The only thing I do differently is I add parmesean cheese instead of the Romano simply because I usually have parmesean on hand. This is so awesome with tostitos!
