Apple Squares

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2011
Yummy flavor, very sweet. I could probably get away with adding only the brown sugar and leaving the white sugar out. I will double this recipe next time too. I was scared that only a 1/2 C of apple wouldnt be enough, but you get the apple flavor throughout so I was happy. WIll make again, thanks!

Tater Tot Casserole II

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2011
Okay, I DID like this recipe, but I will follow it 100% next time, even if I only use it as a side dish. I tried to make it a main meal as some others have suggested. I browned 1lb of beef with some onion and added more cheese. The flavor was great, but the tots fell apart and the consitancy was closer to something like rice. Again, this was my own fault for not following the recipe that I see would yeild crispy tots next time.

Carrot Cake III

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2010
Perfect. I love the pineapple versions of carrot cake, but was looking for a lighter, more traditional version. This recipe did not disappoint! The flavors are balanced and the texture is great! I will be using this as my staple carrot cake from now on. Thank you for sharing!

Yummy! I would suggest using precooked bacon to stop your whole chowder from becoming greasy.

Yummy! I also doubled this recipe, and added nuts. Next time I think I will add a full cup of coca powder.

Tiramisu Cheesecake

Reviewed: May 22, 2009
Wonderful recipe :) I couldn't find the ladyfingers to save my life! I used 5oz of crushed shortbread cookies and halfed the butter for the crust. It covered my 8in springform nicely. I added 10T of the liquer in the batter and 2T in the crust and it came out wonderful. I bought unsweetened cocoa powder for the top. Will make again...... and again!

Rempel Family Meatloaf

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2009
Brilliant! Thank you Rempel Family for this delicious recipe! I used 2.25lbs of beef (change to 9 servings to get correct ingredient ratio) and topped it with the ketchup/honey/worcestershire glaze mentioned by another reviewer. Delicious! I wouldn't change a thing!

Amazing Brown Rice Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2007
This is a wonderful side salad! I love the flavors together. I have made this twice, once following the recipe exactly. The second time I cooked my rice using 2 Cups of fat free chicken stock instead of water. It gave the rice added flavor and complimented the other ingredients in this dish. I'll be making this often. Thank you!

Kerry's French Toast

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2006
What a fantastic base recipe! You should make this one with love! Eyeball sugar and spice amounts and adjust to your own taste. I used Pepperidge Farm Brown Sugar and Cinnamon Swirl Bread. It is a nice firm, tasty bread with just the right thickness for stuffing. I used pumpkin pie spice, which was easier to toss around than each individual spice. I also sprinkled Splenda on top instead of powdered sugar (that's all I had in the cupboard!) which had the same pretty effect. Thanks for this idea, will make again!
