I am creating my own right now....such as Toasty Tempura Sweet Potatoes for Thanksgiving instead of Yams (blekch!)
My cooking triumphs
Nearly every meal.....more specifically a cookie I invented and sell. It's a Toffee Cookie where the dough also tastes like toffee.
My cooking tragedies
I used a 1/4 cup of salt, instead of 1/4 Tablespoon, once while helping my mother bake pumpkin bread for Thanksgiving. Also I held a dinner party where I cooked Morrocan Chicken Tajine....but it ended up taking *4* hours longer than I had planned and my guests were STARVED by the time we ate! It did turn out delicious though!

Greek Lemon Chicken Soup
I don't even like soup and I LOVED THIS...I only had one Tablespoon of Turkey Soup base, so I used that and added a touch more salt. I also added cream of chicken soup as a thickener. I'm officially addicted! While the broth was heating up, I put a single chicken breast in the broth to cook. Then added the veggies after a bit. I used the one chicken breast as the chopped chicken and it was enough. I also used the full amount of lemon juice and it was the perfect lemony flavor.

Chicken Marsala with Portobello Mushrooms
AMAZING! I omitted the browning sauce, and I browned garlic cloves with the mushrooms (like 7-10 cloves). I also use cooking marsala wine...and anyway it's simply FABULOUS, I'm addicted to Macaroni Grill's Chicken Marsala, and this is the ONLY recipe I've found that even comes close. I also substituted White mushrooms instead of portobello ones, and didn't even notice any flavor difference!

Cocktail Meatballs I
My7 yr old daughter RAVED about this recipe...especially since it has such cool ingredient like Grape Jelly. Didn't have chili sauce so I used ketchup and chili powder. She requests this for dinner every night now.
