American Lasagna

I was pretty disappointed with this. I made some of the recommended changes such as cutting back a bit on the brown sugar and adding the can of tomato sauce but it was WAY too thick and tasted too tomato-e (don't know how else to describe it). Wasn't dry but the flavor wasn't anything special. Instead of a 24oz can of sauce I would suggest 8 oz of tomato sauce and 8-16 oz of water. Definately bummed after the two hrs of work.

Traditional Mashed Potatoes

I didn't love this. It was very easy to make but extremely bland when made the way the recipe called for. I did enjoy how fluffy they were and with fresh garlic they were fine.

Garlic Chicken

I did this recipe just as it said and it tasted great and so easy! I did sprinkle a bit more of the dry coating on top to add more crunch. Recipe was even good reheated for leftovers. Will definitely make again!

Double Tomato Bruschetta

This was quite a hit at our halloween party. I followed some previous advice and left the bruschetta separate so that people could put the amount they want and that seemed to be a good idea. Flavors were so fresh and yummy!

Pizza Pinwheels

These pizza pinwheels were gone in a matter of minutes at our party. I followed others advice and got the butter garlic flavored crescent rolls to add flavor. Made pepporoni and cheese wheels and everyone loved them, with or without the marinara. Cut while frozen and there was zero mess. Will make again!

Ultimate Twice Baked Potatoes

These were AMAZING. My boyfriend and I made these for the next two days after because they were so good. I did cheat a little. I put them in the microwave for 3 minutes first and then was able to have them in the oven for 30 min at 370 instead of an hour. Saved a lot of time and tasted just as good! I do think that next time I make them I will broil them for a couple minutes at the end to get the skins a bit more crispy. Also used chives instead of green onions and yum yum!

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

We didn't love this. It was easy enough but the chicken had TOO much of a bbq flavor and I hadn't even put all the bbq suggested. I would give it three stars but because I made some changes (left in crockpot for 8 hrs with chicken broth which someone had suggested, then added bbq, etc for the last hr) it wouldn't be right to knock because of my changes. Put the shredded chicken on rosemary dinner rolls that had been broiled and it was pretty good. Just couldn't put too much chicken or the bbq flavor would completely overpower.

Lasagna Roll-Ups

This dish really surprised me because while I was making it I was a bit worried it would taste bland. I was very pleasantly surprised! The cayenne does a lot. The only thing I changed was using diced tomatoes since that's what my store carried. Fantastic and great leftovers!

Cottage Cheese Chicken Enchiladas

This was not a hit at our house. We both thought the flavor was unappealing. This may have been because of the brand of enchilada sauce we picked but the enchiladas were pretty bleh. We ended up just scrapping out the inside meat and using it on tortilla chips with sour cream.

Party Pinwheels

I made both pepperoni and cheese with italian seasoning and they were YUMMY! Gobbled up at our halloween party in no time. Also used garlic butter flavored crescent rolls. Big hit!

Garlic Cheddar Chicken

I love this chicken, I've made it a few times now and am always pleased. I did put a bit of the breadcrumb mixture on the bottom of the pan to prevent sogginess. Enjoy!

Chicken Chimichangas

These were pretty good, but I made sure to bake the chimichangas instead of frying and I didn't put nearly as much cheese as recommended. I was very happy with the results though.

Rempel Family Meatloaf
