Carrot Cake III

All in all very tasty. Our party seemed to really enjoy it! Add a little food coloring and make it a little thicker with the sugar and you can decorate it very cute!

King Ranch Chicken Casserole III

Very tasy. I cooked 3 chicken breasts with about half a yellow onion and 3 cloves of garlic. I omitted a cup of chicken broth and used two cans of cream of chicken (instead of one of each). Otherwise I cooked it the same. 350 for 30 minutes!

Garlic Red Potatoes

I cut these up quite a bit (into 1/8ths), and cooked about 40 minutes at 375. Pretty good. I enjoyed the lemon flavor but added a bit of Italian seasoning.

Chicken 'N' Chilies Casserole

I was able to use what I had to make this which was great. I used hashbrowns instead, and instead of cream I substituted half milk and half sour cream. Pretty tasty. Wished I would have crisped it on top more for some added texture.

Baked Potato Soup

This was very good! I adjusted to make a tad more healthy and per other recommendations. No salt, 1/2 the basil, no half and half "(sub 1/4cup light sour cream and 1/2 cup non fat milk)and added double the hot sauce. I also put 3/4 of a pre cooked rotisserie chicken in and microwaved the cubed potatoes(3 med. sized) for 3 min. before adding. This was my first stew and darn tasty with fresh sourdough. Will make again!

Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way

This was a heck of a tasty bird. This was my very first time making turkey and with this recipe it was a raving success! I just added some sliced lemon but otherwise it was kept completely the same. Thanks for the great treat. I ended up using a good deal of the broth to make a super tasty gravy (added equal parts flour and water until desired consistency).

Paprika Chicken with Sour Cream Gravy
