Dynamite Halibut

I did change a few things: I used vegenaise instead of mayonnaise, because I wanted to cut out dairy. I also used extra chili garlic sauce, and toasted the sesame seeds. Thrown on a bed of fresh arugula, it was one of the best meals I've had this month!

Pumpkin Bread III

I liked this bread a lot! I made it in muffin form. :) I did notice, however, that it had a slightly eggy taste. As if I had put some fried eggs into it.... I did change the recipe jusssst a tad, though. I used walnut oil instead of vegetable oil, and I also used pumpkin pie spice instead of all the spices. My roommates especially liked this.

Fortune Cookies So Easy

WOW THESE ARE AWESOME! they tasted EXACTLY like good fortune cookies! I used these for a friend's birthday party and they were absolutely a hit! I'm going to use them for valentines day, as well, and put red food coloring in them, to make them pinkish. I will definitely use this again! oh, by the way, i took a batch out too soon, and they were a bit chewy...but my friends said those were even better, and they asked me to make them chewy for valentines day.

The Absolute Best Cookie Recipe Ever

I think these may need more sugar. The looked ok, but the dough was ultra-sticky and it was very difficult to make them. I also used a pampered chef cookie press, and the dough was being really difficult, so I gave up and shaped them with cookie cutters.

Fruit Cookies

hmm...these tasted...different. i liked the fact that they were healthy, but they certainly didn't taste like cookies...don't get me wrong, they didn't taste bad, they just tasted like muffins...like mini-muffin blobs on my cookie sheet. I wasn't crazy about them, since the banana taste was a bit overwhelming, but my sisters ate these bite-sized muffin/cookies in one night. So, they must have thought they were good. Just depends on what you like, i guess.

Dark Chocolate Cake I

OMG. This cake, it's beyond words. Moist, chocolatey, not-too-rich-or-too-light, sweet, decadent just perfect. I won't be needing ANY other chocolate cake recipe. This is THE one.

Baked Tofu Bites

I didn't particularly LOVVVVE the sauce, but I loved the idea...so I've been experimenting with different sauces (peanut satay sauce is the BEST!) I gave it a four for versatility. I'll DEF make baked tofu bites again, I'll just use a different sauce!

Vegan Brownies

Well, the part that COOKED on the outside only was kind of good. It was crumbly and bland, but it was moist and tasted like chocolate. I guess I'm still looking for a decent vegan brownie recipe. :(

One Bowl Chocolate Fudge

I LOVED this recipe. Simply perfect. Instead of using the semisweet chocolate, I just bought 16 oz of my favorite chocolate and used that. Sweeter than intended, so I took out the walnuts and added some 76% dark chocolate chunks instaed. AMAZING and easy!

Heavenly White Cake

this tastes AMAZINGLY good, not to mention its low in fat. my friend wanted a low-fat strawberry cake for her bday, and i just colored it pink and used strawberry extract. i also put frozen strawberries in. this is definitely my favorite cake recipe EVER!!!!

this was pretty good, but I didnt use jelly. I used ice cream. I got the idea from a recipe book I had on hand. I used butter pecan ice cream with cream cheese frosting. Not low-fat, but definitely yummy.

Michelle's Soft Sugar Cookies

well i dont really know what went wrong...but these did not want to be cut out cookies. They did everything in their power to stick to the cookie cutter and after I won the rare battle of actually getting them out, they sought revenge by blobbing out while in the oven, bloating their cute little christmas tree selves into puffy pinecone-looking things. They tasted ok, though. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. mmmmm pinecones....

Pizza Dough I

Wow, I basically love the convenience of this recipe. I'm vegan, too, so I'm really glad that I can actually make my own pizza now! I'm really grateful for the versatility of this pizza dough, too. Most of the time I make actual pizza, by adding tomato sauce and veggies and spices, but sometimes I add a little melted butter, sugar, and cinnamon as a treat. ;-)

French Bread

if i could i would give this six stars! its so amazingly delicious, and has next to no fat, and tastes great with jam or cheese or whatever you want! As I was making it, I was thinking it would never taste as good as real french bread, but i was wrong. YUMMY!!!!!!! And the fact that my family scarfed it down in less than a day is probably a good sign! :D
