I'm with Gracecc and Tom. When you substitute one ingredient for another you are now responsible for what you wind up with. For those that knew how to make creme fraiche, and followed the recipe to the letter, we had delicious results. No need to bash the person the submitted the recipe!!!!

Cheesy Sausage Pasta

Made mine with bow tie pasta as well, and added green, red and orange peppers. I also added some extra onion (Vidalia) and used half and half hot italian and mild italian sausage along with some freshly cracked pepper. Delish!

Hot Dogs 'n' Rice

Cheesy Olive Snacks

We had these today at a going away party. For some reason they did not look the best...BUT...they were absolutely lip smacking delicious...can't wait to try these at home. The only difference was she also added a bit of minced bell peppers. Great recipe and very easy and quick too.

Smothered Collard Greens and Cabbage

Took a bit longer for my greens to tenderize, but it didn't matter..the end result was absolutely awesome. I've been looking for this recipe for a while; my grandmother made greens just like this!!!!

Omelet in a Bag

Use freezer strength bags, veggies work best but precooked ham, bacon works well too. My family loves these with cheese, onion and bell pepper. No added fat makes these nutritious omelets and very tasty, plus 11 year old can cook these in a hot pot, with easy clean up.

Collard Greens

Just like my grandma used to make...if you are scared of the salt pork/extra fat, try smoked turkey leg...tastes just like ham..and the greens are still flavorful

Jeremy's Philly Steak and Cheese Sandwich

I can hear the GASP coming...but here goes....why does every steak sandwich need to be a "Philly" steak??? I did cut back on the cream cheese...added more garlic for taste. This sandwich was very good...I will fix it again for my family.

Baked Linguine with Meat Sauce

I prepared this recipe on my job as a special dish...every one now has that expectant look on their face when they see me with ground beef and cheese. It was very rich; next time I will use lower fat Neufchatel cheese and sour cream. This recipe is excellent for feeding large groups.
