I love this soup! We usually have it when we go camping and fishing, its super simple to make and delicious. I didn't add the lemon, and I did add some chopped up carrots and a tablespoon of chicken stock to give it some more flavor. I used salmon. Yum!

Russian Beet Salad with Herring

Chocolate Brittle Surprise

This was pretty good, but the amount of the sugar syrup was not enough. I did 2.5 times as much to cover the crackers.

Carrot Cake III

Delicious! I've made this twice, the first time, I used someone's suggestion to used applesauce instead of half of the oil, it turned out just a little flat, wasn't sure why, but still good. The second time, I only needed a small cake, so I halved the recipe (used all ingredients as written), and used a small round springform pan. It turned out wonderful! I used the original amount of frosting though, and put a layer of frosting in the middle of the cake as well... I also mixed in walnuts and raisins into the frosting, YUM!

Chicken Alfredo Pizza

This was pretty good, had a restaraunt-style gourmet taste to it. The rosemary gave it a delicious flavor, but the dough turned out a little bit soggy on top. I might bake it first before adding toppings if I make it again. I added red pepper strips, red onions, and topped with shredded monterey jack the last 5 min of baking. Will definitely make again!

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

Delicious. I also added chopped spinach to the cream cheese mix, and sprinkled the filled mushrooms with bread crumbs mixed w/parm cheese. I served them on top on a little bit of warmed alfredo sauce. YUM!

Brown Sugar Smokies

Yum! I added way more brown sugar, and made the dipping sauce someone suggested (mayo, chili sauce, brown sugar). I made about 3 times as much for a party, and they disappeared before some of the other dishes were even touched!

Chicken Spinach Quiche

Wonderful quiche! Super easy to make, I've made it several times, and once I even made it the night before, refrigerated, and baked the next morning. It came out great, and it was awesome that I could make it the night before for less hassle in the morning!

Jamie's Cranberry Spinach Salad

Delicious salad! I usually don't like fruit/nuts in my salad, but made this for a party, and decided to try it because everyone was raving about it... wow, yum! There was a tiny bit left over, which I ended up eating the next day, wilted leaves and all. It was that good!
