Greek Garbanzo Bean Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2014
Pretty good, and I like new ways to use garbanzo beans. More feta is welcome, and instead of using premade dressing I just did a quick drizzle of olive oil and balsamic vinegar, although go easy on the vinegar :)

Vegetarian Korma

A good way to use up some leftovers. Not my favorite dish (felt like it was missing something, and I don't mean meat, just something) but there's nothing to not like about it.

Slow Cooker Bolognese

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2013
Pretty tasty and really convenient from the slow cooker. My husband and my younger coworker gobbled it up. I was a bit apphrensive over the milk (I used cream instead, as that's what I had on hand) but it was fine. I usually use bacon in a Bolognese, so I missed it a bit in this dish. On a whole though, quite good.

Sausage Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2012
Great! I omitted the celery and the cabbage (didn't have any in the house) and added some salt and pepper and a tiny little bit of cayanne and sugar. Super recipe!

Sasser Family Oven Stew

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2011
It's a good base but you've really got to add some flavour. I added bay leaves, thyme, salt, pepper, and Lowrey's in addition to some green beans. I boiled the green beans in tomato juice, salt and pepper until it was cooked then added all the veggies and let it simmer for an hour or so. It's pretty tasty with the flavor enchancements, I am having it with toast right now :)

Spinach and Sun-Dried Tomato Pasta

Reviewed: May 13, 2009
Pretty good, although I used sun dried tomatoes in oil, skipped all the broth, and put some crumbled bacon in.

Lentil Chili II

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2008
Very tasty-I doubled the garlic though, and used a bit of dried red Indonesian peppers (very spicy though, you may not want too)

Prosciutto Parmesan Pasta

Reviewed: May 29, 2008
Really good! I ran out of Parmesan so I substituted Gouda for about 1/3 of the cheese. Came out nice and creamy though (I used a little more cheese then was recommended though)

Baked Dijon Salmon

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2008
I loved this and so did my boyfriend. I used fried onions (the kind you buy in a can) instead of pecans and it still turned out great. Very tasty.
