I always double the recipe and sometimes add the vanilla or a little flour, but they are great both ways!

Crispy Chicken Strips

This makes and awesome gluten free chicken strip! We used brown rice krispies and GF flour blend, but we used McCormicks Grill Mates Smokehouse Maple seasoning and it came out excellent. One of our favorite "fry night" treats. Just like eating out. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

French Toast Casserole

This was a winner! I used 1 1/2 tsp of cinnamon and used brown sugar instead of white, and we all loved it even with the gluten free bread I used. I will definitely be making this again!

Triple Bypass

Holy Yummy this was good. I spread an 8oz package of cream cheese to the bottom of the pan, then added the meat, sprinkled sharp cheddar, added the tater tots and added some queso after it was on our plates. We all really enjoyed this and we'll definitely make it again!

The whole family really enjoyed this. I added organic frozen peas to the mix and it gave it another great snappy flavor.

This was excellent. We made if for our New Year's Eve dinner and weren't disappointed. We ate it over fettucine noodles. Thanks so much for the excellent recipe!

My Crab Cakes

Thoroughly enjoyed these! Since we need to eat gluten free, I used some garden flavored rice crackers that i ground in my food processor for the filling and the coating. They turned out great.

Cowboy Hash

We enjoyed this. I did add some ketchup and taco seasoning as well as cooked the meat with diced onion. I served over waffle fries and will probably make it again. Nothing fancy, but quick and hearty.

Mahi Mahi with Coconut Rice and Mango Salsa

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2010
This was awesome! I loved the rice, the fish was tasty (I didn't put as much red pepper flakes in because I'm a wimp) and I used mango salsa from costco. I will definitely be making this again.

Three Packet Slow Cooker Roast

This was good. The meat was very moist and tender. The flavor was good, but not "Wow." I added potatoes to it and I would make it again.

Chicken-Flavored Rice Mix

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2009
This tastes a lot like the Lipton chicken rice mix I used to buy years ago. I used onion powder and celery salt as replacements and added all of this to leftover brown rice. It turned out great. This will be one of my new favorites! Thank you

BBQ Hotdogs on Rice

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2009
This was given mixed reviews at our dinner table. I enjoyed the flavors and so did one of our kids, but 3 didn't, so will probably change it up a bit next time. I did an an onion and used honey bbq sauce. The sauce wasn't thick enough for me, so I mixed a little cornstarch and that worked well.

Cottage Cheese Roast

Reviewed: May 7, 2009
This was great! So much more flavor than i expected! I put half a red onion and a red bell pepper in ours and it tasted great. I think it would be good without, and I probably won't put the red pepper in again, but everyone loved it. Our german exchange student even asked for the recipe to take home since she's a vegetarian and this was a great new recipe.

I truly enjoyed this. We put it over rice and I used a gluten free version of Hoisin sauce that wasn't the same as the real stuff and I didn't like, but tasted great mixed with the BBQ sauce. i will definitely make this one again! The whole family loved it. :)

Corn and Zucchini Melody

I enjoyed this dish. The bacon definitely makes it. I added a bit of italian dressing on the advice of a previous review and liked it. We didn't use any cheese and the only corn I had on hand was canned. But it went well with our salmon and rice.

Italian Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

My girls and I really enjoyed this. I put Basil and the garlic salt in olive oil and brushed it on the bread. I also added thinly sliced roma tomatoes. I bet it would be excellent with marinara, but we just dipped it in tomato soup. We will definitely be keeping this recipe!

Rice with Goodies

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2008
I really enjoyed this. The whole family did. It has all of our favorite things in one! I don't see how this could possibly feed 12 as it fed 5 with a little leftover and I doubled the veggies and fruit. I didn't add mushrooms, and added 1/4 stock I had leftover from the turkey plus coconut. That added a nice flavor. I will definitely make this again!

It ended up being a little spicy for most of us, but it was still really flavorful. My husband loved it. Next time I'll cut down on some of the chili powder. I didn't even add the habaneros!
