Creamy Spiced Coleslaw

I have been making this for a couple of years now and it has remained my family's favorite! I do add 1/4 cup minced green bell pepper and always prepare at least a day in advance! In the south I've had a great coleslaw but this is right there at the top!

Chicken Casserole Mississippi

This is great comfort food. I boiled 3 chicken breasts and cubed. Added sour cream, canned mushrooms and 1 1/3 cup heavy cream to soups. I mixed my cooked noodles and chicken with 1/2 soup mixture and put into WELL greased dish. Topped w/ remaining soup then crackers. My children 3 & 6 both asked for seconds. Served w/ corn on the cob and salad. Yum!

Hearty Ranch and Bacon Potato Soup

I have noticed a number of complaints that this recipe is too salty. Please note that the recipe calls for LOW SODIUM CHICKEN BROTH. As long as you follow the recipe and do not add salt before tasting, you should not have any problems with salt content.

American-Italian Pasta Salad

I have to say this is a wonderful salad! I mixed the dressing as directed but just used the veges that sounded good - thinly sliced carrot, roasted red pepper, diced green pepper, chopped cucumber, chopped red onion, cherry tomatoes and chopped smoked ham. WOW! SUPER SUMMER SALAD!

Oven Fried Chicken III

This recipe did not work for me at all. The coating stayed soggy even after increasing baking time quite a bit. The taste wasn't very impressive either. Thanks anyway.

Taste of Home's Creamy Coleslaw

This has to be the best slaw I've eaten by far and I am from the south. I have to say it was good after chilling in the frig for just a couple of hours but the next day it was even better. I added a little applecider vinegar, celery seed, purple onion and bellpepper to mine and used only half the sugar. This is a definite keeper!!! Thanks for sharing.
