Used 2 1/2 cups half and half cream and 1 1/2 cups heavy cream because that's what I had in the house. My ice cream maker was too full but I happen to have another ice cream maker. When I put half in the other maker, it seem to speed up the process way faster. I always put the mixed ingredients into the freezer for 45 minutes before putting into the ice cream maker to speed up the freezing process, which is recommended by the manufacturer for mine. I only had peppermint/mint extract which I wasn't crazy about, It would have been better with just the mint flavour. Never made ice cream without egg before, very good!!! Will make again.
