Portobello Mushroom Caps and Veggies

Recipe good but needs some punch. The next time I'd use a marinade for the mushrooms and broil them, then add them to the veggie mixture. Also this time I used feta cheese instead of the parmesan - added more flavour.

Broccoli Salad V

Wonderful broccoli salad!! Since my sister is a diabetic, I omitted the raisins and mixed the salad dressing with 1 Tbsp.of cider vinegar (didn't have tarragon) and then added 1/3 cup Splenda, beating all together. Great recipe!! Thanks!!

Grilled Mediterranean Greek Pizza with Sundried Tomato Chicken Sausage

This was really good! Had on hand garlic chicken sausage so used that and otherwise followed exactly. Will make again and add the seeded olives and sundried tomatoes, perhaps some artichokes. YUM!

Shrimps Saganaki (Greek Recipe)

I'd definitely reduce the "2 inches of water "- if I'd added the entire amount of shrimp stock, I'd have had soup. I only used a portion of the stock, then added 1 1/2 Tbsp. of cornstarch to thicken up a bit. Most of the flavour came from the feta cheese . The next time I'd add chopped kalameta olives along with some greek seasoning and fresh chopped tomatoes. Recipe does have great potential.

Shrimp and Crab Casserole

The flavors are a wonderful mix. I halved the recipe and the next time will saute the onion with fresh mushrooms before adding to final mixture. Found the tsp. of hot pepper sauce just right - it didn't overwhelm the delicate flavors of the shrimp and crab.

Bacon Mustard Pork Roast with Stuffed Mushroom Caps

This was very good. Next time would saute onions and mushroom stems before filling the mushroom tops. I used portabello caps - delicious. Might make again but have several others I prefer over this one.

Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

VERY VERY GOOD!! HOWEVER, THE NEXT TIME I WILL ADD A HALF A TOMATO SOUP CAN OF WATER AS I FOUND THE SOUP EVAPORATED BY THE END OF THE COOKING TIME.

Broccoli Cheese Bake

This was a wonderful broccoli cheese recipe. It served a crown of 10 easily as a side along with several other vegetables. I did use 4 cups of a really good cheddar cheese - YUM!!!

Butternut Squash Casserole

Very good but did eliminate the white sugar as others had suggested. Also lowered the amount of margarine. Next time will reduce the cinnamon to 1/2 tsp.

Fresh Rhubarb Pie

Best Rhubarb Pie recipe I've ever made! I added 1/2 tsp. cinnamon and an additional Tbsp. of flour as I've always had a problem with a runny rhubarb pie in the past. Will make again!

Shrimp and Feta Cheese Pasta

Followed recipe exactly except for using fresh basil. Way too dry - even after adding additional oil and wine. And the pound of pasta was overload. A full package of feta cheese (6oz) was also too much for our taste. With some tweaking, this could be very good.

Canned Soup

Root Vegetable Bake

This was really good and will make again. The next time, I shall put the turnip and parsnip in about 15 minutes ahead of the rest of the veggies. They took a bit longer to cook. Very flavorful!

Mediterranean Chicken

This dish was wonderful and healthy. I did add a small can of artichokes and scaled it down to 4 for the two of us. Also added feta cheese to the top as others had done. Will definitely make this again! Thanks for a great recipe.

Roasted Cauliflower Soup

This soup is wonderful and full of flavor. I did add 3 small (extra) cloves of garlic (we're garlic lovers) to the onion and sauteed them both together. Cold winter night here: this was true comfort food! Served with hot crusty rolls. YUMMMM!!!
