Jerre's Black Bean and Pork Tenderloin Slow Cooker Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2013
Wow! Tasty, easy, versatile, and diabetic friendly. What else can you ask for? This has to be the most successful crock pot recipe I have ever seen. It's not only ridiculously easy to make, it's ridiculously delicious! I made it as written with the single variance of adding a small can of green chilies. There are so many ways you can riff on this basic recipe, you can make it once a month for a year and never repeat the same meal. Inwouldngive it more stars if I could.

Tender Pork Stew with Beans

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2014
This recipe is super versatile and easy to make. I have made it in the crock pot on days I had to work and couldn't babysit the stove. Just cook it with the lid off for the last hour to thicken up the stew a little.

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: May 27, 2012
This is a fantastic recipe and has made its way into our regular meal rotation. What we like about it the most is the flexibility. I want to begin by saying that I am not a big rosemary fan, however this recipe has the right combination of flavors that it satisfies both the rosemary lovers and those who aren't quite sure about it. The first time we made this, we made 3 batches: 1) using the recipe as written for the chicken kabobs (marinated for 5 hours), 2) omitted the vinegar and marinated vegetables (portobello, zucchini, bell peppers, onions) for 1 hour, 3) omitted the vinegar and worcestershire and used as dressing for tossed salad. I can't wait to try more variations. This is a "winner winner chicken dinner"!!

Pork Scaloppini with Mustard Creme

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2009
I've made this several times and it turns out great every time! The layers of flavor work well together. The allspice and mustard balance each other beautifully, and the rest pull it all together. I wouldn't change a single ingredient.

Tasty Collard Greens

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2009
I'm from the South, and love traditional, long-cooked greens. Using the smoked turkey is a great alternative to pork. Fresh collards in the fall/early winter are the best to use, if possible. If it's not possible to get fresh ones, bagged greens found in the produce section will work. If they're a little bitter, add about a tablespoon of sugar. It makes a difference and you won't taste the sugar!
