Great recipe. I prep this in advanced, freeze it and pull it out to thaw the night before for an easy tasty meal.

Kettle Corn

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2013
I love this recipe! I can't believe I can make kettle corn on my stove that tastes just like the stuff you buy at fairs! I never buy it at the fairs anymore because this is so easy to make. One more thing, with all the shaking of the pot this is a great arm workout! :)

Honey Cornbread

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2012
This is the best sweet cornbread recipe. I always try to make my own recipe sweet off the cuff but I decided to try this recipe and I am glad I did. The consistency and sweetness were right on!

Turkey Tetrazzini II

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2012
Tasty dish that I will certainly be making again. I sauteed onions, garlic and celery in a separate pan and added it to the milk/broth mixture and really enjoyed that the flavor they added. I cooked at 400 degrees for 20 minutes and then loosely covered with foil for an additional 10 minutes of baking in the oven.

Mom's Italian Beef Barley Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2012
I didn't really enjoy this recipe. I am not sure if it had too much onions but the taste wasn't that good to me husband and I.

Baked Potato Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2011
This soup is so delicious. I've never thought to put basil in a potato soup before and it is fabulous! I also add some cream cheese if I happen to have some for added creaminess. It's a great addition but totally not necessary!

This was delicious and I didn't even have shrimp to add. But I know it would be awesome with shrimp too.

Cranberry Orange Bread

I really didn't enjoy the flavor combination of orange and cranberry. Also, this was too dry for me.

Jesse and Steve's Fresh Strawberry Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2010
This cake was great. It reminded me of the strawberry cakes my made for me as a child. It was wonderful! I used a strawberry buttercream frosting and it was delicious! Based on reviews I added some strawberry extract - 2 T -to have a stronger strawberry flavor. I can't wait to make this at the height of berry season!

Fruited Curry Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2009
You really need to add A LOT more curry to taste it in this recipe. I used 2-2.5 tsps to get it to taste curried. To get more sweetness I added some jumbo red flame raisins, red grapes, a honeycrisp apple and a tablespoon of honey. The bowl was nearly empty at the party I took it too!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2009
As is the recipe is 4 stars. If I double the strutsel topping and put some in the middle of the batter and some on top...that makes the muffins to die for!!!

Holiday Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2009
This recipe is good but I keep wanting it sweeter. To get my sweet fix I had 1/2 braeburn/jazz apple (minced) and some green grapes. I keep the onions and green bell peppers in and it is a great combination of flavors and crunch.

This is the best pancake recipe. I just figured out what the taste reminds me of: funnel cakes!! It is so wonderful. I add powdered sugar and enjoy! I didn't need to tweak it at all.

Fruit Dip II

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2008
This dip is extremely sweet. I wouldn't serve it with fruit, if you follow some of the recommended suggestions (add 2 TBS of OJ). I used pretzels and it was the perfect combo of salty and sweet. I will serve again but only with pretzels.
