Great, easy recipe! I followed the instructions exactly and just added some fresh parsley at the end. Will definitely use again!

A Very Popular BBQ Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2011
I needed BBQ sauce in a pinch and this whipped out really quick! It has a good flavor with a little bit of spice. It makes a lot of sauce - so I have a lot of barbecuing to do!

Upside Down

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2011
Overall this recipe was pretty good, I loved being able to combine the cauliflower, beef and rice with a curried flavor. I halved the recipe and I don't know if that made the difference or not but it lacked the full flavor I was expecting. I will make this again but I think I will double most of the spices (especially the curry and tumeric!). I would also like to try this without the meat too - it would make a great vegetarian dish!

Serbian Ground Beef, Veggie, and Potato Bake

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2011
Great recipe! I took this to a potluck and everyone loved it - will definitely use again. It was a nice change of pace using different spices with the ground beef. I would also recommend using more potatoes as many others have suggested. Otherwise the recipe by itself is still 5-star.

Bourbon Whipped Cream

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2010
Great recipe! Super easy to make and taste great - I used about 1 tsp of Chambord instead of the bourbon and put it on top of a devonshire split! Yummy...

Bohemian Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2010
I thought this was a fairly good but basic recipe. Very easy to make and somewhat cheap to make. I omitted the bacon, although I'm sure it would have added a good taste to it. I did make a few changes by adding a few spices - cumin, black pepper, and garlic powder. Thyme would have been good in it too! I would suggest putting in a little extra milk to the mac-n-cheese and also sauteing the bell pepper and onion.

Kona Chicken

Reviewed: May 7, 2010
I've made this a few times and followed the directions pretty closely. The only change I made was to add cornstarch at the end as others have suggested and I used chicken tenderloins. I also used cooking sherry once and it turned out just as good! I've taken this to potlucks and everyone loved it!

Aunt Mary's Eggplant Balls

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2009
These were great! I did do a few things different (going by the suggestions of previous reviews). I did have to add extra water to steam the eggplant. I also used extra garlic and breadcrumbs, at least twice the amount, added an italian seasoning type mix and pureed everything in the food process. Will definitely use again!

Chickpea and Couscous Delight

Reviewed: May 15, 2008
Surprisingly good! This was my first time using couscous and this recipe fit my taste buds! I did change a few things - I used lemon juice instead of vinegar (as others suggested), diced canned tomatoes (with juice) and I added some tarragon to the dressing. Will definitely use this recipe again!

Springtime Asparagus and Parmesan Sandwich

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2008
Yummy! This was a great alternative for using asparagus. I used sour dough bread and toasted it, placed the mayonnaise on one side and used green leaf lettuce with the steamed asparagus and parmesaen cheese and it was wonderful! Will definitely use again - thanks for the recipe!

Baked Tofu Spinach Wrap

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2008
This was really good for such a quick and simple recipe. I used plain tofu because I didn't have the flavored variety and I spiced it up by adding cumin and garlic powder. I didn't have any ranch dressing either so I used soy sauce and italian dressing. To keep the tortilla from cracking I followed one of the other reviewers advice and lightly cooked it in a pan before cooking in the microwave. Thanks for the recipe!

Lemon Garlic Tilapia

Reviewed: May 31, 2007
Awesome recipe! I prepared as other reviewers suggested - sauteed lots of garlic (in olive oil) and baked at 400. I actually added less lemon juice as suggested but I think next time I make it I'll use more. I love the lemony taste!

Rice with Herbes de Provence

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2006
Great dish! Very flavorful and would not change anything, except to note if you use a sodium-free (or low sodium), you might need to add more salt. This works great for brown rice as well.

Poppy Seed and Banana Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2006
Great recipe, but way too many poppy seeds. I will definitely make this again, but will cut the poppy seeds in half and add a little more sugar and/or honey.

Potato Curry

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2005
Great recipe. It wasn't quite as spicy as I like it but I didn't have all the spices on hand. Next time I'll try the other spices and I'm sure it will be even better!
